Interesting new twitter account has appeared – The Fish Doctor???? (@dayoftheFishDr) FISH??!!!!
http://www.thedrum.com/news/2013/11/19/timelords-unite-mysterious-dr-who-twitter-teaser-campaign
I’d say keep a close eye on the BBC Red Button in next couple of days (and no doubt YouTube as well). I don’t know anything, but I’m guessing (based on a conversation I had last month)
😀
20 November 2013 at 10:56 #20986Anonymous @@scaryb — Fish doctor… they’re probably just piscine about… arf. (I’ll get me coat)…
With regards to the Graun at the moment, my fault entirely but I seem to have riled an ‘old friend’ and there has been some dissing of the site. Feel free to flag it up to Graun mods if you see anything of that ilk…
20 November 2013 at 11:07 #20988@jimthefish You should know better, but… (haha, I’ve got one of my own). BUT we should also not give them the satisfaction of continuing to discuss on here. Starring in discussions on DWF counts as a troll-hit too. As someone said ages back on here (can’t remember who, sorry) – We need to make like the Doctor and be better than that. And if we’re discussing specific posters on here, I’d say we’re not. I’d suggest PMs if people need to let off steam about it.

20 November 2013 at 11:15 #20990The Fish Doctor???? (@dayoftheFishDr) FISH??!!!!
*grumblegrumble*pointed that out ages ago*grumble grumble*
20 November 2013 at 11:26 #20991Grovelling apologies your mighty Fishness – you did indeed. In my defence there’s a bit of a deluge of links ATM! But it was worth repeating, no? Esp for BG fans.
::shuffles nervoously in case the Fish Clan is about to get a seal* of endorsement::
*Yeah, Fish – I said SEAL!!! 😈
20 November 2013 at 11:27 #20992A new mini-episode, “The Last Day”, has been released but it is only available in the UK as a £2.50 download while people in the US get it free!
from http://www.doctorwhonews.net/2013/11/the-last-day-201113103008.html
First day on the front line? Time to attach a Headcam for a soldier’s point-of-view. What could possibly go wrong?
Unlike The Night of The Doctor, this minisode does not feature any of the characters/situations currently unveiled for The Day of the Doctor, but instead relates to another, related day …I don’t have iTunes on my work PC so I can’t tell if just using the US link lets you watch for free?

20 November 2013 at 11:33 #2099420 November 2013 at 11:37 #20995Dammit! Too late to edit – really must type more carefully – that was supposed to say UNFishness 😳
20 November 2013 at 11:59 #20996Hmm. Unfish.
I like it.
20 November 2013 at 12:20 #20998Anonymous @@thommck – I tried the US version of iTunes but it just flipped me over to the UK version and wanted money to play The Last Day. Hmmmph. Must be one of those BBC America rights issues. 🙁
20 November 2013 at 12:24 #20999@thommck – It’s another slap in the face to the UK, following on from the big price difference for TEOTW & TWOF between the UK & the US…
@Shazzbot -Loving the fez!
20 November 2013 at 12:39 #21000Anonymous @20 November 2013 at 12:54 #21001Anonymous @A new video (5 minutes) on the Guardian website (warning: video starts automatically) –
Mark Gatiss, actor, comedian and screenwriter of TV hits such as The League of Gentlemen, Sherlock and Doctor Who, takes us on a tour of the set of his latest sci-fi offering, BBC2’s An Adventure in Space and Time, which charts the inception and recording of the very first Doctor Who story 50 years ago. He reflects on what Doctor Who has meant to him, why its early years are ripe for revisiting and how the team painstakingly recreated the Limegrove Studios of 1963

Also: There are a couple of big spoilers doing the rounds, so my advice is to go & hide in a cave (or perhaps just don’t Google Dr Who).
I’m not even going to post them on ‘Spoilers’ as they are definitively so…….

However, a BBC spokesman has confirmed to RadioTimes.com that “this is an error on the part of iTunes. This should have been free. We’re waiting to hear back from them about how this will be rectified.”
You can see the full article here although it does show a new picture and explain a bit more what happens

20 November 2013 at 16:07 #21010Looking at the fishdoctor twitter thing @pedant and @scaryb mentioned, I guess my question a while ago about the footage Peter Davison was filming is going to be answered very shortly 😉

20 November 2013 at 16:42 #21015Resist the piscine lure!! I shall never be Phasefish!
20 November 2013 at 16:45 #21017@phaseshift – It’s okay – I was only joking… Not to say that I’m Fishist…….
20 November 2013 at 16:49 #21018Anonymous @@wolfweed – ‘wolffish’ is quite a smart moniker. 🙂
‘Shazzfish’, on the other hand, well, let’s pretend that was never said aloud. 😆 Sounds like something someone will say after drinking all 11 of Phase’s cocktails.
@phaseshift – sorry I missed your original G post, but with @scaryb‘s assistance I was able to enjoy it. {curtseys}
