FAN FILM REVIEWS: HOW TO STOP A TIME LORD

Story: The Tenant and Smith Doctors end up materializing in at an empty school to solve a mystery and learn a thing or two about life…

Review: This is simply exquisite. Very well acted, great chemistry, well shot, well edited, the writing is terrific, and it captures both the humour and the sweetness that is at the heart of Doctor Who. It is an honest pleasure.

That’s really all the review you need.

Go watch it.

Now.

  1. @DenValdron thank you for going to all that trouble. It looked great. After 2 mins, though, it just kept showing the loading signal for 8 seconds followed by 1 second of film, then loading. Frustration overload! I have the best internet connection on the street.

The guys on the website even provided 2 options for viewing -which also didn’t work as the code wasn’t supported. It could be that my computer, with its firewalls and protection, won’t play it. Shame. I might try it at work for I shall not be deterred 🙂

I was already hooked as the opening shots were fantastic -every bit as good as NuWho whilst the cartoon-look-a-like of the Tardis chucking out Tennant and his credentials which changed from ‘weak’ to ‘hopeless’ on the screen looked amazing.

Smith appearing as a blur shot behind Tennant and with both Tardis’ in the frame was great. Every detail had dedicated time and love. It seems the fellas themselves have an awesome sense of humour too.

    Onwards!

  2. The film is working now, and I must say that totally love it. I like the phycological and comical parts the most.  The chemestry between the doctors was acording to me better than in the day of the Doctor. The girl though was a bit anoying. The actress was fine but her character reaminded me of an early BG Doctor who episode when the companion mostly followed the Doctor and screamed a bit. But the rest of the episode makes up for that one failure.
