I would think that there&#8217;d be a lot of opposition as people are so used to the Doctor being a man. I guess I miss a lot of the backstory when I have only watched the recent seasons. I do love DW and I would like to know the whole story, it&#8217;s just there are so many episodes and I don&#8217;t have the time to watch them all.</p>
