<p>Regarding the Time Lock &#8211; Steven Moffat&#8217;s clarified this a bit. </p>
<p>They didn&#8217;t make it a big thing within the series because it&#8217;s something that the characters haven&#8217;t really twigged yet. But travelling to Gallifrey and the Doctor&#8217;s past showed that when The Moment lifted the Time Lock, it stayed lifted.
