<p>I&#8217;m in the other camp on that one. I find D0 concept hard to believe as the Hartnell Doctor seems so lost at the beginning. <p>Currently <em>Orphan Black</em>, recently <em>Broadchurch</em>. But I think we are just going to have to differ on this. I particularly liked the (mostly) unrelated stories in series 7. But I also like the arc based series &#8211; so long as the writers are coming up with good ideas rather than doing the same thing/not doing the same thing just for the sake of it.</p>

<p>If he is a future Doctor, why does Matt refer to him in the past tense? (&#8220;He&#8217;s the one who<em> broke</em> the promise&#8221;)</p>
<p>Also  &#8220;Count the regenerations&#8230;&#8221; If there is a Doctor Zero before Hartnell then Hartnell becomes the first regeneration rather than the first Doctor, so everything moves on 1 from what we thought ie 11 becomes 12.
