I still think that it got retconned out, since the Daleks that we see are squids in pepperpots. Take Caan, for example:

Well, a pure robot wouldn’t really be able to hate, would it? It would just be algorithms. Also, maybe the whole robot idea was just unpopular, so the BBC retconned it out?

Oh, I don’t know about not scary. They’re still imperialistic space nazis, after all, and you have to have at least some respect for a species that can build and use a weapon that can destroy reality and win a war with the Time Lords.

*GASP* Maybe it’ll be Christopher Eccleston, and there will be a massive plot arc where the Daleks and Rassilon team up to invade our reality!

On a more serious note, it might actually be someone that we’ve seen before. I, personally, wouldn’t mind a reappearance of Ace or another Classic companion.

Well, I’m human, so I have no idea what art made by Daleks would look like. *grins* Maybe there already is Dalek art all over their spaceships and we don’t see it because it’s not art as we define it.
