									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Love the Doctor&#8217;s <em>sang-froid</em> in dealing with the potential executioners, you never for a moment think he&#8217;s in less than complete control of the situation. I&#8217;m rather less comfortable with his casual use of the gun, though; I don&#8217;t mind him using his fists (or his martial arts skills) in close combat, but  did find that jarring.</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Such sad news about Kate O&#8217;Mara.  She wasn&#8217;t well served with stories but she still made The Rani so fantastically, wickedly watchable.  It&#8217;s become something of a joke the way every time there&#8217;s a female villain brought into Doctor Who the cry goes up that &#8220;maybe she&#8217;s The Rani!&#8221; but Kate&#8217;s would be a tough act for anyone to follow.</p>

<p>Well, I was thinking more along the lines of &#8220;oh B*******, we&#8217;re out of doors with a big blue box and a whole crowd of people, somebody with a smartphone&#8217;s going to notice that, aren&#8217;t they?&#8221;</p>
<p>I&#8217;d be insisting on a photo-shoot in studio five minutes before the official reveal &#8211; I reckon it&#8217;s the only way in this day and age!</p>
