Plus River was really just a copy in TNOTD. She couldn&#8217;t fake that. If she had been a ganger there would have been some sort of slime/ milky substance as well.</p>

<p>Regeneration always seems bittersweet (my ex-girlfriend, who&#8217;d never seen Doctor Who before AG Who, burst into tears when Christopher Eccleston regenerated but soon loved David Tennant)&#8230; But, somehow, regeneration has always seemed at the right time and for the best.</p>
