<p>Today&#8217;s the first time I&#8217;ve heard &#8220;pants&#8221; used in that context.  Is it a British thing?</p>
<p>I heard Rowan Atkinson (I think) talking once about language in comedy and that using the word &#8220;underpants&#8221; is inherently more funny than using the word &#8220;underwear&#8221;.</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Is it just me or was Odin&#8217;s appearance in the sky very Pythonesque. I was half expecting him to send the Doctor on a quest to seek the Holy Grail. If it was a nod, then there&#8217;s another (albeit very loose and obscure) reference to serpents.</p>
<p>Also, more references to the doctors memory.
