<p>It&#8217;s kind of the perfect Penny dreadful/Amicus ending you&#8217;d expect from Gatiss.</p>

<p>I keep wondering about that phrase as well. Three stories now with serpents in, two with aliens taking the name of gods associated with ravens/crows. Apart from the associations with death there are also associations with knowledge and memory.</p>
