@jimthefish

It’s interesting that the new Guardian blog says it will be open until the 50th celebrations in November.  It does sound like they are trying to tempt us back – the last few Dr Who related comments […]

3D!  What a waste of money.  I’ve still a little cathode ray tube telly.

I’ve only seen two films in 3D: Tron 2 (the 3D was cobblers, but so was the film mind) and the Hobbit (made me dizzy due to it being shot […]

I suspect that it will be all change this year too.  In terms of show runners, what about Toby Whitehouse now that Being Human has got the chop?

Hmmm @Phaseshift your description of Sapphire and Steel makes it sound quite good.

It was on when I was either off to Brownies or coming back and I distinctly remember not having a clue what was going on in any […]

Hmmm, Matt might be looking at how Tennant’s career has panned out after leaving – I’m thinking of those Virgin adverts, a pilot for a US tv series which wasn’t picked up and making a couple of duff films.

I […]

@Craig

Yes I woke up to David Bradley being Hartnell in Gatiss’ Who special.  Bradley is a great actor so I’m looking forward to it.

Posted the above before actually reading it.  One of those Guardian interviews which doesn’t contain any interview.

@Craig thanks for the link.

Why isn’t it on here?  *shakes fist at BBC*

Ahem *shuffles feet guiltily*, still not had time to listen to the episodes.  To be fair my laptop died on me and wiped out my recordings.  I managed to salvage 7 of them but I’ve spent my time backing everything […]

Aaa, a lovely warm sofa.  It’s freezing down in London too.  Monday was absolutely miserable, wind and sleet whistling around my ears as I trudged in my lunch hour to an art supplies shop, only for to find it was […]

 Blake’s 7. Servelan…perhaps the all-time great TV villain.

@Blenkinsop

When I was a nipper, my dentist wasn’t a normal dentist rather it was the Dental Hospital in Dundee.  What I didn’t know at the time was […]

I’m in remedial class already!  I’ve not had time to listen to the last two audio adventures, but I’ve recorded them and will listen to them at the weekend, honest….

Thanks @Craig!  Of course I’ve got nothing to post there now but I’m sure it will come in handy in the future.

Hmmm there seems to be quite a few johnnycomelatelys about.  Young @WhoHar is probably gadding […]

Logging in at work *shhhh*

I’m wondering if there should be a news page or something like it.   I don’t mean that we write our own articles or cut and paste them from other sites, but rather provide links to […]

This is a bit like doing homework, with all the Dr Who stuff coming thick and fast… Lucky we have a lovely site like this to keep up with it all.

Anyway just finished listening to ‘Death in Blackpool’ and […]

Here’s a link to the Guardian article on the new Who short story series: http://www.guardian.co.uk/books/2013/jan/07/doctor-who-ebooks-eoin-colfer

Here’s an extract: <a […]

This was one of my least favourite episodes of the series, but I gave the second half another go you know to show a bit of willing (plus there is bugger all on telly).

It was nice seeing Rory and Amy again, […]

Thanks for doing all that work to make our new home so nice.  I’ve just uploaded an enhanced avatar to show my pigeon in all his glory.

I’m all for doing a book club type thing for the classic series.  However […]
