    If the John Hurt character doesn’t have the name The Doctor. Then is he not classed as the 9th Doctor. So when they describe Tennant as the 10th Doctor and Smith as the 11th Doctor its actually true. But John was the 9th Incarnation? He just wasn’t considered the 9th Doctor.. if you understand my meaning.
