The first time I saw The Mind Robber I had no idea what to expect. I hadn’t heard anything about it, I didn’t even know what it was about. The main reason I bought it was because the DVD cover intrigued me. It soon became my favourite Troughton story and one of my top 10 stories of all time. Judging by this and the other stories he recommended to @shazzbot, @HTPBDET had a good taste in stories.
@TheKrynoidMan – have a look at this comment, where HTPBDET fleshed out his reasons for his 50 favourite stories.

Hi @wolfweed – I did see your reply – you constantly amaze me with finding the perfect image for every occasion!
Later tonight I’m getting out The Mind Robber again to find the extras. Seeing a number of people have such good things to say about the story makes me wish we’d done it in our BG Who series – but Phase has highlighted it in his Christmas blog so that’s good too.
