Spoiler space, discussing spoilers, do not read, we are discussing spoilers

    ******************************

Not sure if it’s a spoiler as it’s on the BBC website, but have you looked through the gallery of images from next week’s episode, and the very clear close-up on the book in the library? It looks like it’s Clara who discovers it. What will she/we learn?

I think the TARDIS in that picture looks different to the one in the series at the moment. Looks older, and more beaten up. Perhaps it’s just a trick of the photo though?

I thought the effects were extremely similar to a regeneration too. I also think it was the exact colour as used when he used a bit of regeneration energy on River’s arm last series, so I am with you on that one, @htpbdet

I enjoyed the singing – I thought it gave the episode a bit of (more) emotional impact.

I think the different leaf was probably a continuity thing, it looked big and plastic in this episode, and a bit naff, I thought.

Did anyone else think the Doctor’s reaction at the very end was telling? He says something like “you did it all yourself”, whilst looking deeply concerned. I think it was more than just amazement that Clara did the leaf thing. I think he can see that she’s more than just a normal human, and is worried about exactly what. I don’t think he believes that it was the ‘infinite possibilities’ of the leaf that is what got the job done in the end, but I think it connected to his very strange reaction last episode to the leaf.

I also think that the ‘things look different’ line was more significant than just expanded horizons, but I’ll wait and see what exactly it is!

Hello from another newbie, albeit one who’s been lurking since this site was set up (thanks, Craig!).

Love the thought that the DELSA website is all part of the plot, it does look very much like something to do with Who. However, I think that this site can put that thought to bed: http://www.the-scientist.com/?articles.view/articleNo/31985/title/Opinion–Data-to-Knowledge-to-Action/

I think the leaf will prove to be most significant. I just didn’t get the “first page” comment at all…
