@FaeGrl– I’m a fan of the doctor is calling, when ever you hear that song good stuff is about to happen. That sucks about not being able to find “exterminate!”, I’m in Canada… and a complete nube to itunes so I don’t know 🙁 Thank you for the interest though 🙂

@FaeGrl – Well the First and Seventh are my favourite Doctors! The First has a lot of serials, the Seventh has only twelve serials… because they cancelled the show. There was even plans for season 27… but noooo, they had to cancel it didn’t they!? Could of had more serials with the Seventh… and his hat. Okay I’ll stop ranting now. But his…[Read more]

@FaeGrl – I’m sure you’ll like the Sixth Doctor… personally I like all the Doctors in general… just have my favourites of course. I find it interesting to know what Doctors think of other Doctors. Some Doctors actually dislike other incarnations; for example… the Second and Third always seem to argue. And the Fifth and Seventh apparently do…[Read more]

@FaeGrl – Yay for the spoons! Also… the Seventh Doctor did sing in ‘The Happiness Patrol’… oh and he can juggle and do magic tricks too, as shown in ‘The Greatest Show in the Galaxy’. And of course… tricks with his hat.

@goldsnake – That’s cool!

@FaeGrl – Yes some Doctors tend to have a egotistical streak; Sixth and Tenth definitely. The Seventh Doctor can just be a bit smug sometimes, he’s more subtle about it. Though… he does say when he’s made a mistake; one of my favourite cliffhangers (which most people would probably consider a silly cliff-hanger) is when there’s a Dalek shuttle…[Read more]

@FaeGrl – Re: Spoon Playing – I know, and McCoy is so good at it! I do wonder how some Doctors seem to have musical talents when others don’t… in his first serial, it just seems the Seventh now can play the spoons when none of his previous incarnations could. Also, the Second Doctor played a recorder… none of the others do. Oh and the Fifth…[Read more]

@FaeGrl – the melting clock is a ‘special effects failure’. Apparently it looked ever so much better in the studio. 🙂

It’s interesting about the screaming. Susan did scream rather a lot, but then, what would you expect a teenager to do when being threatened by Daleks and so on? I know that nowadays, kids expect their alter egos to be a lot tougher, unfazed by anything, Harry Potter style, but frankly, I know I would probably scream if s…[Read more]

@FaeGrl That is brilliant. Just brilliant. The sight of all those guys in white shirts, dark ties, and fox hats simply did me in. And I enjoyed the Rezonate piece too, by the way, very atmospheric. Like you, I have only recently become familiar with dubstep, as there is a class in my son’s music school that produces it, and we get to hear a lo…[Read more]

@FaeGrl – Yes the umbrella is very important… almost as important as the hat! ….almost! I think I’m obsessed with Panama Hats… thanks to the Seventh Doctor. And now I also want to learn how to play the spoons because of him too!

@FaeGrl – ‘Trial of a Time Lord’ is the name of the entire season; it has four serials in it, that one is from ‘The Mysterious Planet’. Which is probably my favourite from that season… along with ‘The Ultimate Foe’ which is the finale serial. I only have a few more serials to go before I’ve watched all of the Sixth Doctor’s episodes. I really do…[Read more]

@FaeGrl – Oh yes, actually amazon also sells the question mark sweater and paisley scarf I think. I usually check eBay as well for items, also somebody on etsy makes the question mark handle for the Seventh Doctor’s umbrella. Which will be very useful! Got to have the umbrella!

@FaeGrl – Yeah its a bit annoying you can’t get the Classic Series on those properly. My random viewings of the serials does mean I miss continuity points sometimes though, but I did watch all of ‘Trial of a Time Lord’ in order… because that season came as one boxset on DVD! lol Oh have to mention… the first sequence in ‘The Mysterious Planet’…[Read more]

@FaeGrl – I always found Barbara’s overreaction to the melted clock rather amusing, especially when she throws he own watch away. So random! And yes, the “dun, dun, dun!” music is awesome! I actually like a lot of the music in Classic Who… especially the radiophonics… some epic sounds right there!
You know a lot of folks seem to think the…[Read more]

@andrewwhite92 – Happy to be of assistance! I’ll get to answering the survey in a while.
@FaeGrl – Actually sometimes I wish I could watch more than one at a time, and sometimes its hard to choose which Doctor I want to watch a serial of. Anyhow you have a lot of good serials to watch, in fact you’ll probably watch some serials I haven’t yet due…[Read more]

hi all – broadband’s down all weekend (grrrr) so using a dodgy wifi connection.
Can I just say, I was going to say something amusing about how all the “sun” music is getting me down (due to me wanting to be somewhere sunny!) but actually those were some great pieces from everyone above!

@FaeGrl – When I first saw the scene I was like “what the heck is the Doctor doing…!?”, but in a way it really shows how ‘alien’ he is at first with how he acts. Oh and Ian and Barbara are awesome companions! In fact Ian is my favourite companion from Doctor Who. He and the Doctor later on make a great (but rather funny) team in a number of…[Read more]
