Okay, this is very Doctor Who related but I wasn’t sure were else to post it. During the episode The Doctor’s Daughter, This is Gallifrey plays when the Doctor talks about the Time War but it is arranged differently. Does anyone know what this arrangement is called and where I could find it? I tried to search for it on Google and Youtube but failed to find it.

Thanks,
-Mob5 April 2014 at 15:16 #26743I had though about Geoffrey Bayldon but he played the alternate 1st Doctor in Auld Mortality and Storm of Angles so I wasn’t sure if I wanted to use him because he is so similar to William Hartnell, or that’s what I remember anyway. I wanted a really stern and serious Doctor and then he’d become a more gentle and fatherly Doctor in his 2nd Regeneration (Peter Cushing as Dr. Who is where I got the inspiration). And Hugh David seems a bit young to be the kind of Doctor I was looking for.
This is what I was thinking though
1st Doctor – ?
2nd Doctor – Peter Cushing
3rd Doctor – Christopher Lee
4th Doctor – Patrick Stewart
5th Doctor – Alan Rickman
6th Doctor – ?
7th Doctor – Ben Kingsley
8th Doctor – Robert Carlyle
9th Doctor – Sean Bean
10th Doctor – Ioan Gruffudd
11th Doctor – Idris Elba
12th Doctor – Suranne Jones
Thanks for helping though.
4 April 2014 at 14:12 #26730I’m not sure where else to post this question so I’ll do it here. You probably know that I’m making an ultimate Doctor Who Timeline but I’m also beginning to write fanfiction (yes, I’m one those guys) and it has all the Doctors being played by (or looking like) completely different people (Ben Kingsley plays the 7th Doctor and Sean Bean plays the 9th, for instance). But I’m struggling to think of any British 1960s actors (I want the eras to kind of match up because I’m strange). Does anyone have any good ideas about how COULD have played the 1st Doctor? The only one I’ve found that I sort of like is Basil Rathbone but I’ve seen very little and I’m not sure. And I was going to use Peter Cushing but he’s my 2nd Doctor.
But thanks for any ideas.
21 March 2014 at 17:32 #26522On a completely different topic, does anyone know where I can download th Scene of Day of the Doctor where the two Tardises land to help War press the button?
Also something I thought I’d share, I was watching The Stolen Earth and Caan says No More. Thought that was quite cool.
And, this was one that made me feel like a genius and makes my Doctor Who timeline for like a dream, remember 4’s last words? When I thought about how 4 could get more regens and this crossed my mind I nearly jumped up around. Id you don’t remember then it’s ‘It’s the end, but the MOMENT has been prepared for.’ Mind blown I bet.

15 March 2014 at 11:11 #26417Yeah, this timeline got very long very quickly. It was going well: adding Unbound Doctors, Nelvana Doctors, Shalka, Curse of Fatal Death and then all the fan doctors started to be very vague on where there Doctors actually are in the timeline. Not to mention that I don’t really like any fan based Doctor Who series I’ve seen. A bit of an exaggeration, maybe; I guess some are okay.
And those Japanese Books! Man, I wish I could read them! Just to see the arkwork and how different cultures interpret things differently.
And Canon, shmanon. You can’t really not have non-canon in a universe that adopts a multi-verse theory anyway.
On that, I want to share a little detail from my timeline (which will I might post in devaintart) is this: Dr. Who (Peter Cushing) is the Meta-Crisis 10th Doctor. I guess you might have heard that before but when I saw Meta-Crisis trapped in a parallel universe, there where too many similarities for me to ignore.
Anyway, that’s what I think. My timeline is full of little connections like that (or at least, I think so).
14 March 2014 at 15:44 #26400I’m thinking of making, well I am making, an ultimate Doctor Who Timeline that features ever incarnation of the Doctor – canon, non-canon and fanon. I’ve got most of the basics down into one single line, adding various non-canon Doctors now. I’ve started looking for Fanon Doctors but the Doctor Who Expanded Wikia is a mess and in dire need of a clean up. Does anyone now of any notable Fanon Doctors I should include?
On a side not, does anyone know where I can get my hands on the Hayakawa Bunko Doctor Who books? I’ve tried to find them but it seems impossible! The illustrations portray the Doctor differently (and the TARDIS is red) and I was going to add them (there is two Doctors I think) to the Timeline.
