@Bluesqueakpip re Space Museum
You have the edge on me. I was -3 months old at the time although I may well have listened to the story. I have never watched it either (although I will have read the book in the […]

I’m not sure I think that differently from you, although I’m certainly using a different description. I do think you have to treat time travelers separately from the rest of us. As you stated […]

I think @arkleseizure observation that the Doctor does indeed change his own (known to him) future in the Space Museum does need some elaboration on your point 4 above.

I accept your points, but not your reasoning regarding the “fixed” tag. In BG who it was a generally accepted point that you shouldn’t fundamentally change the historical past (on Earth anyway) in […]

I have to say this was one of my least liked stories in Season 5 mostly because the overall episode didn’t completely jell for me. There were lots of interesting ideas, but they never quite managed to make it all […]

without a doubt fixed points exist in the Who universe and the Time Lords would certainly have collectively know which points were. I suppose you could argue that the Tardis would have a list of […]

Thanks. How could I have forgotten the Deadly Assassin ? I recall Goth dies because his brain and body had been severely damaged in the Matrix struggle. I think we’ll have to ask […]

Still good as far as I’m concerned. Looking forward to see what you’re going to do instead of the story padding later on 😉

Absolutely – the Who universe works in its own way. A couple of clarification from me and questions for you.
If you are a time traveler from the future of planet X then surely all points in your […]

Hmmm. I think we might be at cross purposes slightly. In my mind the Doctor can’t have known that he would actually die at the Lake, even if everyone he knew swore that they saw him die there. […]

Talking of Daleks, Spike Milligan wrote several sketches with them in his Q series. I found this on youtube, but I remember seeing older (and funnier) clips as well.

No its complete although I think they did a few things to reconstruct it completely from various sources they had. The Dalek Invasion of Earth is the only other pre-Pertwee Dalek story that is.

It might be rather amusing to watch the Daleks (if you can stand black & white) given than JimTheFish is busy reimagining it.

Understand. As a general observation, being pretty new here I’ve come across a couple of essentially dormant blogs and threads quite by accident. I can’t help thinking that there should be a better […]

As a general observation, wouldn’t it make more sense to split this into several sub-threads for each of the Doctors ? The way its currently structured there is no possibility for […]

I think that you could argue that the history of the Thals as written by Terry Nation was more sophisticated than it originally appeared, although how much of this back story he created at […]
