But they said it was about friendship, so that’s OK, right?  Ta @scaryB

@juniperfish, agreed, so much. Too much! (Oh dear)

Missy as Nurse Ratched. Flipping heck, I think I need to go lie down

Ooh, yes @mudlark, totally thought the roof/ polar base layout mapped.

Which does get us back to, that house ain’t real…

@miapatrick, sounds wonderful, I hope you find yourself comfortably installed with your home comforts around you soon, and soon enough to enjoy the fire during the winter months x

@purofilion, what no entendre? Aw, just give us one! 😉

Ahem, but to keep things strictly on topic, I agree with @blenkinsopthebrave. It’s not that I’m not a fan of the bonkerising, but I think there is plenty of scope for it within series, while allowing the Christmas special to stand alone, a bit anyway.

On the other hand, what *are* we going…[Read more]

After immediately reminding him of a thing he just asked me to remind him of, my husband just called me Love-Handles.. :-

You see what happens when you go too far @macphisto96? You end up down a narrative cul de sac from which there is no hope of rescue, only to have Moffat do something so totally different that it breaks your head and before you know it, you’re over at the Graun blog screaming, “Moffat must GO!” But it was just that once, and I’m better now,…[Read more]

Oh @lisa, say it ain’t so about the dreamy dreaming dreamers. I can see one good ‘And it was all a dream’ episode, but yeah the dream patches are too big a deal, unless there is a simple explanation like the sedative in them is derived from dream crabs, although it is strongly implied they are the stuff of legend, even for the Doctor. Anyway, I…[Read more]

@Macphisto96, @purofilion, re leery behaviour, I put it down to a sense something wasn’t right, although i was wondering if there would be an exchange along the following lines…

Santa: So…. Marilyn was really upset when she found out you’d run out on her…

Doctor: Shut up

Ohmygoshohmygoshohmygosh!!!

Why do I have “Everything is awesome!” on a loop in my head? Probably just the dream crabs…

Totally agree with the “Just going to have a sulk by this handy volcano, what’s that under this stone here, looks like a big spider, wonder if this planet is a giant egg.. oh hai Santa.” However I’ll need to go back and watch…[Read more]

@midnyt, that is incredibly festive!

Greetings all, loved the festive Daleks, and the Bottom clip!

Great time of year for continuing the Who education; watched half of the classic Silurians, Day and Time of, plus Christmas Carol which was fabulous. Now just need to negotiate other people’s tv preferences on Christmas day:  may play trump card and get wee one to announce that she’d…[Read more]

A happy solstice to you too @Juniperfish, and to all!

Got 12, probably appropriate for somewhat unsociable Scot, plenty of time to catch up with my reading!

@purofilion, Molly Duke is a new one on me! Here I am a south paw to the English speakers, Corrie-fisted to the more Scots inclined. But I like Molly Duke, she sounds more like a laideee!

Cheers @ScaryB

@janetteb, @purofilion, it is now my mission in life to find that hat (although I suspect if I did I wouldn’t be allowed to pop it on my noggin)

Thanks @pedant

My tablet is a Google Nexus.  I wait for the menu, then say, tap ‘paste’, I get a little pop up which politely asks me to use keyboard shortcuts

@botheyesshut, well glad to be of (limited) assistance, that all sounds highly… technical…

Hope it works and enjoy! Also hope the weather improves; honestly, I’ll take a bit of rain over what you’re getting!!

@Craig, @JimtheFish or other MODs, clue an eejit in, would you? From a tablet, thus lacking a control key, is there a way to paste without downloading a full keyboard emulator, or breaking into Mr Lefty’s rubbish laptop?

Ta muchly
