….*out of breath*…oooh ooh oooh I just saw the TARDIS (the proper blue wooden one) on my way to work!

*SPOILERS*

It was hanging off a crane in Trafalgar Square.  Someone looking a bit like JLC was […]

A quick posting whilst I’m eating breakfast (ooh just like old times, except here as the Grauniad has descended into a complete negative fest).

Re: 3 x Claras who are all similar.

It is looking like the […]

I’m still undecided about the episode I’ll need to rewatch it but, as I mentioned on the Grauniad blog, kiddiwinks singing really set my teeth on edge.  If I can get past that (ie with the mute button) it might […]

Speaking of memories & grandparents

1) Clara remembered seeing the Doctor at her mother’s funeral only at the end of the episode, is he therefore retrospectively visiting her past and implanting himself in her […]

Re: Ravenwood & DELSA

Are these merely little Easter eggs for beady eyed fans I ask myself.  ie:

Raven = Black, therefore Blackwood (little Caitlan Blackwood)

DELSA = Slade(n) (Elizabeth Sladen) [okay […]

Well that gives us less to work with *scratches out leaf theories*.

What are we left with?  The Tardis didn’t let Clara in, also it didn’t translate for her either.  Significant?  Or inconsistent writing?

I’ve not had any particularly Earth shattering ideas, waiting for Saturday’s episode to get a few more clues. However I’ve got the following observations:

1) Leaf.  I reckon the leaf thing may still be […]

…on a side note, there is now a third Doctor Who article/comments page on the Guardian.  Another review, to go with the two reviews they’ve already got up there.

Having multiple pages with nesting doesn’t […]

Not really news as such, but the Peter Cushing film ‘Doctor Who and the Daleks’ is on Channel Five today.

I’ve not seen it for years, but I’ve got a vague memory of it being on a Saturday morning and thinking […]

*lights pipe* I think you’re right @Phaseshift, the ‘girl in the shop’ must be Rose.  Not wishing to be ageist, but River would surely be described as ‘woman in the shop’ by Clara.

Now that Tennant & Piper are […]

Looks like you can buy the ‘Summer Falls’ book, see: http://merchandise.thedoctorwhosite.co.uk/doctor-who-summer-falls/

Oh yes, I nearly got the ref to the ‘Bells of St John’ title.  I did suggest that it could mean the church of the Order of St John who were the basis of the St John’s Ambulance brigade.

Okay, maybe I only got […]

I found myself getting rather excited during the theme tune, felt the same when the Ecclestone series began.

In fact the episode did remind me a bit of ‘Rose’ in that the protagonist wasn’t that important, it […]

Hooray!  At last a little nugget from the new series *lights pipe*.

Not much to go on admittedly, but I’ve watched it twice – once without any expectations and then, after reading @Craig‘s post, with a more […]

Thanks @Bluesqueakpip I knew I wasn’t dreaming.

What about the room (?)11 which the Doctor peered into in the hotel in the God Complex.  What was there?  And wasn’t there a suggestion of a Cloister bell there?

Wasn’t there a reference to ‘Oranges & Lemons’ in a previous episode?  Can’t remember which one (out of practice) but the final lines of ‘Here comes a candle to light you to bed, Here comes a chopper to chop off […]

Preview of new series here.

At time of posting there was one lonely comment underneath. Also, despite promises, the other Who episode blogs are closing, again from lack of interest.

Maybe it is a protest […]

The above don’t tell you much, plus some of them I’ve seen before!

John Barrowman was on Richard Bacon today backtracking about possible participation in the 50th anniversary.  He said it could involve just […]

New photos from the upcoming series here

I don’t like the nesting thing on Guardian comments either.  There was an article last weekend sometime saying that the new format must be better as they had more comments.  After having a think about it […]
