“God of Battle = Minister of War?”
Very good! That’s a distinct possibility. It also explains why the Doctor hadn’t heard of the minister of War in “Before the Flood”. In his time line he hadn’t created her yet… I hope your idea bears fruit.

Pure and utter speculation on my part, but on the unannounced topic of “Who or what could Maisie Williams’ character be in The Girl Who Died…I think….
She’s a TARDIS, possibly a War TARDIS lost from the Last Great Time War, that made it’s way to Earth… or possibly the Master’s TARDIS (where has that been all this time, anyway?). Either way…[Read more]

The term “bootstrap” derives from a paradox being likened to someone trying to lift themselves off the ground by their bootstraps (or laces). I.e. It’s something that, in pure theory with no relation to natural laws is possible but due to natural laws should not be possible. It’s the suspension of the rules to enable the impossible.

For those interested in a Doctor Who Podcast where they review each episode of the show after it’s aired, I listen to The Doctor’s Companion. Three American hosts present the show and they’re really very good, in my opinion. They each have good insights into the episode and mix it up with some humour as well.
They’ve just released the latest…[Read more]

“one could see it imprinted on their eyes. Like an ocular transmission? It could just be typically clever cinematography”
No, it’s definitely the reason that people get earwormed, and that’s why the Ghost didn’t killed that one crew member who hadn’t been inside the ship. Because he hadn’t been earwormed so couldn’t become a t…[Read more]

@jphamlore, Aaahhh! Thank you. I understand.
I’ve not been here long myself but the people who frequent this forum all seem to be wonderful and their theories are great!

@jphamlore, forgive my ignorance but what exactly is meant by “breaking the fourth wall”? This is the second time I’ve seen that term today…

Oh no, no. I certainly haven’t felt like you’ve put me down at all. There have been people who’ve disagreed with my theory despite all the evidence I’ve collected (fools! 😉 ) and I truly do respect peoples right to disagree. In fact, the more people throw up reasons why I might be wrong simply spurs me to finding even more evidence. 🙂

Oh no. If I’m right then I believe Missy knows exactly who Clara is. I believe this was actually Missy’s idea in the first place, to cross her time line with a previous incarnation of herself (just as the Doctor(s) have done) and use the Chameleon Arch to de-Master-ise Clara.
Missy knew that the Doctor wouldn’t kill her on Skaro.…[Read more]

You said way up above… “Is Clara somehow “the enemy inside a friend”?”
Well, there’s a few people here skeptical of my theory but I think, yes, she is. I could turn out to be horrendously wrong but, at this point, I think Clara is an incarnation of the Master, the one after John Simm, who has used a Chameleon Arch to hide her ide…[Read more]
