hello there. I’ve just joined (!) -looking forward to the pleasures of the forum!  to start with I’ve a question that’s been bugging me for a while …

does anyone know the name of the teleporting silver alien that if it touches you, you die (or something along those lines!)  ? – I think it was blind and only responded to your movement as a form of telling where you were. I think it was during the Sylvester McCoy or Peter Davidson  incarnations , but I could be wrong. And its not in the “doctor who site” monsters and aliens section .

anyone have an idea?
