I meant to add, that Lee Ingleby isn’t the only British actor to be underrated, so is Laurance Fox. He is very good as James Hathaway in Lewis, but he can so so much more.

Odd, but I’m not so keen on the Rings of Akhaten.
All the scores from DT and MS are a treat, and Heaven Sent is superb.
We could talk about him on the Music thread if you like?

I have long been an admirer of MR James, he creates – for me at least – just the right amount of shudders.
As for The Signalman, I’ve got it on a Cd and am watching the filmed version on YT at the moment.
Are any of you admirers of Charles Dickens?

It seems that they aren’t bringing in the non-smoking law over here – it was media hype. Just as well, as i wouldn’t adhere to it. When they constantly advertise alcohol and gambling on Televsion, but ban cigarettes, I tend to be a little cross!

Indeed it is worth the money and AUD$18 is cheap. And – yes, Jeremy Brett did indeed play Sherlock Holmes, I’ve got the Box Set – now isn’t that a surprise. *big grin*
After Benedict Cumberbatch, he’s the next best Holmes – in my opinion.
Did you know that the role killed him? Poor man, he simply wouldn’t slow down and his…

That’s the chap, Lee Ingleby. he’s vastly underrated in my opinion. If you like a good ghost story you will love three three.
Although i knew Mark Gatiss was talented, i had no idea how talented. Do see if the second story reminds you of anything>

Hope your Mum will enjoy them too.

They are now bringing out a law over here – and possibly everywhere else- where you are not allowed to smoke in your own house?

Now, I don’t care whether any of you oppose smoking or not, but this is taking things much too far. Even Merry
