Late to the party (again…but I brought booze, nibbles and circular pi…which may or may not be edible…om nom nom…oh! apparently it IS edible *spider says though mouthfuls of pi*).

Loved the episode, favourite bit (apart from the monster which was genius!) was probably Clara finding the tiny TARDIS ‘adorable’ (would have loved there to be a…[Read more]

@ScaryB Aha! thought i saw you podding about in the Nethershpere but when we both saw the…oh what? Memory worms you say? I don’t remember that at all. Apart from when we both suddenly woke up shouting at each other across a table…probably not related I’m sure XD

@lisa oh your REALLY wont believe what is going here. 😮

But Missy has been paying attention to these forums and has been getting some fantastic ideas.

We should work out some sort of code. Ahh Got to go, they are coming! Later! ;D

@soundworld no worries XD

Woohoo! Brilliant prize, right I’m off. Orient Express. Brilliant. Hmmm…ok, not so good, people seem to be dying here. And there’s some really strange Scottish bloke running about spouting nonsense. Now, what’s this. Oh hello! Are you my Mu…ARGH!

Good news though people! I’m now in the promised land with Missy and I…[Read more]

ok, at the risk of being very, very pedantic. @soundworld  ‘Gallifreyans Using Stealth’ was me  first XD

@soundworld  Oh you got me thinking about acronyms too!

GUS:  Gallifreyan Using Stealth   😉

@deadmeat3171  Yes. I noticed that – see post #33436 😉

@Melloyello I completely disagree with pretty much everything you’ve said, but you are of course entitled to your opinion and that’s absolutely fine.

Sorry to hear the show isn’t living up to your high standards, but I do wonder what exactly are the ‘high standards’ and what is it you think that makes the current season ‘not Doctor Who’? (Doctor,…[Read more]

Loved this episode and mostly one the first watch as well. The only things that jarred for me was Clara suddenly deciding it was all back to fine and she wanted to continue travelling with the Doctor, lying to Danny, lying to the Doctor. But reading the thoughts on here exploring the addiction angle that makes a bit more sense.

Is it just me or…[Read more]

Going back to what someone said (sry can’t remember who) and has been echoed lots, about it being funny how some things bug people more than others in what they like to be ‘accurate’. I was just thinking that for me, last week, the space robots imaging sensors annoyed me a huge amount, but this week I am totally fine for the moon to be  a giant…[Read more]

@Whisht  Ah sorry to accidentally burst your bubble. But don’t give up on your bonkette (lol)

You are assuming the ‘judge’ is unbiased. Perhaps she is going to judge, but lets say is going to skew the evidence in the outcome she wants. Which is guilty as charged. Death by *whatever* and means she gets his lovely new life and new set of…[Read more]

@Cryptonomica. Welcome! And good points,. Agree this is Clara finally having to step into the Doctor’s shoes, everything else has been only at risk to herself of being an observer. And as you say, I think at the end she is more angry and scared at herself for nearly making the wrong decision than she is at the Doctor for putting her in that…[Read more]

@scotsman418 Sorry to hear you didn’t enjoy the episode. That’s totally up to you of course but….

“Looking forward to the assistant being left with the Daleks?” What are you talking about? Are you referring to Asylum? Because that is an old episode with a different character.

Although I’m not totally with any of the science in this episode…[Read more]

I have to admit. I would have pressed the button. It was the rational thing to do, and as @Bluesqueakpip quite correctly says it is a terrible way to make a decision.

@Miapatrick, yes the bombs would affect the Earth, not because of the detonation itself (too far away) but the aftermath. Large chunks of moon raining down on the Earth – exactly…[Read more]

Well that episode certainly scared me, a lot to do with that is because I cannot stand spiders (yes, I know its my username, it’s also my nickname in real life…ironic eh XD).

I too will have to watch a second time but overall on first watch I generally enjoyed it (apart from giant spiders. ARGH!). Now I’ll never be able to look at the moon in…[Read more]

Lol @Arbutus not ever quite happened like that…yet! But that is indeed a funny image.

Intriguing idea about Missy being interested in the Doctor and calling him ‘boyfriend’ because death follows him closely, and if that’s the case is which is why she takes a personal interest in him and perhaps more specifically a personal interest in people…[Read more]

I’m a bit late to the party but here’s my 2p. Overall I enjoyed the episode, some very funny lines. Robot was a bit meh in terms of plot but looked very cool.

On first watch my main point of annoyance was the invisibility watch that meant the blitzer couldn’t see the Doctor and yet could see the footprints – the filming of it gives the impression…[Read more]

Oh I like the idea of Blue/Pink mirroring the two different time streams. So perhaps the one where he did destroy Gallifrey is Blue (Journey Blue was a soldier) and the one where he doesn’t is Pink (Danny Pink is an ex-soldier)? @Juniperfish, I think I too shall go back and watch all the eps again for more Blue/Pink clues!

Anyone else think of t…[Read more]
