I don’t know the BG Doctors well but I do love Sarah Jane with any Doctor and that goes for River as well. I am such a fan of the show that I love them all!

What? People don’t like Seven? Why? His seasons have a Doctor that’s funny but can also be clever (and isn’t an arrogant fashion-challenged person, a la 6) and they have Ace!

I might be in the minority but I would love to see the Doctor and River kicking around together, for a bit anyway. Maybe some adventures during that long night they have together? An alien companion would be good also, male or female.
