I’m hoping for more stories set on other planets, or at least more UNIT stories so we have a reason for The Doctor to be constantly hanging around modern day earth.

I think I may have found the most pointless DVD extra ever. I bought The Graduate recently and it includes what the back cover describes as “4 original widescreen excepts”, basically 4 scenes from the film presented in widescreen, even though the film itself was a widescreen copy. Like I said, completely pointless.

I really don’t like this episode. For me it’s probably the worst story of series 1. Others have mentioned Adam, but I also don’t think the satire works. I didn’t see this story when it was originally broadcast, I caught up with it on DVD a couple of years later. Back then I found the political stuff boring and now that I’ve grown up and have a vague idea how politics work, I find it incredibly stupid.
