All I can say is amazing!

Bill is funny and clever and i think she will give the Doctor a run for his money in a similar way that Donna used to.

I was expecting Nardole to get on my nerves but he surprised me with his witty one liners and facial expressions that only Matt Lucas can do to that skill, hopefully he will be just as good for the rest of the season.

The villain was fantastic, scary whilst still keeping a sense of mystery, we don’t really know what it is and it could therefore possibly come back in the future? And of course we can’t forget about that vault…what is in there? and what kind of havoc will it wreak on the universe now that the Doctor has left it unattended?

This for me was exactly what Doctor Who is all about, a brilliant fun adventure with the ability to scare us all silly. Very much reminded me of the old Russell T Davies era and I hope to see more of this!

Now don’t mind me, I’m going to go and re-watch the episode and analyze the hell out of it!

thanks for your advice, I will have a look before I go. My main concern is classic DVDs as I am collecting those so we will see what I can find!

As for the castle, I don’t think we will have time to go there as we are a 3/4 hour drive away and we plan to go there and back in a day. It’s a bit of a shame as I know it’s a frequent Doctor Who/Torchwood/SJA site, not to mention the fact that I’m an archaeology student so would have been interesting anyway! I wanted to check out some of the other surrounding places as well but I think I will have to keep it to just the Lanto shrine and the millennium centre (or the hub 😉).

Well being a poor university student, i have to find the cheapest deals! haha!! But I didn’t know you were from Aus @thane15! always wanted to go over there but it’s expensive being…you know…on the opposite side of the planet!

Hey guys, so i am going to the Doctor Who Experience in Cardiff this weekend and wondered if any of you guys have been? If you have, would you be able to tell me how pricey the gift shop is? would it be worth buying there or keeping my money and buying some who stuff elsewhere?

Don’t get me wrong, missy is brilliant but I feel like she’s been dumbed down from what the master is supposed to be. John Simm was perfect in that role, he played the part of crazy whilst still maintaining smart and deceitful. I am a little apprehensive about bringing him back but if they are gonna bring back any master it has to be him in my opinion. (Not because the others are dead 😂)</p>

what do you guys think of the announcement that Bill will be an openly gay character? I am personally glad they are doing it but i do wonder why they feel the need to bring attention to it. Why can’t it just be a thing that is in the show, like a straight character would be? Opinions please?

@ichabod yes aftershow means it airs directly after the show. It’s an American thing so i doubt we will get it here in the UK! @thane15 i don’t have any worries about the actors and producers of the actual show it’s the presenters and other guests on the aftershows that get on my nerves. don’t get me wrong i tend to give Doctor Who way more praise than it deserves at times but i will criticize it if i feel it needs criticizing, but I think those guys would praise even Sylvester McCoy’s first series!

I’m not sure I’m a fan of this doctor who aftershow idea…don’t get me wrong I like discussing the show (reason I’m here) but if it’s anything like the walking dead one then it will just be worshipping the show regardless of whether the episode was good or bad! I’m a newcomer here btw, just stepped off the TARDIS! So hello!
