Thanks so much for the feedback! Yes, we try to put our own spin on stuff so it can sometime sound quite removed from the original artist. We did a version of Gnarls Barkleys ‘Crazy’ which ended up sounding more like Johnny Cash!

I love the new voices Nicholas Briggs provided in the re-issue, special edition version of Day of the Daleks. I’m sure the original voice actors were great at their profession, but those Dalek voices didn’t sound right and Briggs really understands the gravitas needed to convey the terror of the Daleks, especially in episode three!

I’ve got a question to anyone reading who maybe able to clear this up; I’m sure I once saw, on Youtube, some footage of a ‘test regeneration’ scene between Hartnell and Troughton where the first doctor collapses in a field and regenerates there and then, the second doctor picks himself up and carries on running through the field. Did I completely make this up in my head or was there an early try-out version of the first regeneration? It has been bugging me like mad!!!!

My earliest memory of Doctor Who is of me sat in my grandparents living room watching the cliff-hanger in Mawdryn Undead where Turlough is about to drop the rock on the Doctors head and that sting of the theme music. I can’t describe what a completely electric feeling that was to the 4 year old me, wondering how the Doctor would get out of that one! I became so hooked in the Davison era. He was my total hero and I loved playing in my tent TARDIS so much we even brought it to the beach in Blackpool where I happily played in it all afternoon!
