@HTPBDET – I thought the kids were fine little actors, but not brilliantly directed. When they knew what they were doing, as you say, they delivered faultlessly; but I got the feeling the young actress playing […]

SPOILER, SPOILER, SPOILER...

SPOILER, SPOILER, SPOILER...

@HTPBDET

Alexander was always going to revert to type pretty soon. It’s pointless to engage with him. I had a comment moderated under some of his Dalek fanfiction once which simply said “I applaud this. […]

@HTPBDET – perhaps they were all supporters of the losing team in the FA Cup final? (not saying who in case anyone has recorded it for later).

That was fun, though (the episode, not the cup final).

agree with @HTPBDET (as ever!) – there’s always plot holes in programmes (eg why didn’t the baddie just kill the hero when he had him at his mercy; how come the rocket didn’t fry them etc etc etc).

But they […]

@HTPBDET

If you ever get Janet Fielding tipsy

Ahhh you may have awoken some adolescent fantasies I had there. My suave 15 year old self. Tegan. A 1.5 litre bottle of “Thunderbird”. 😳

Only joking. […]

@HTPBDET

Hopefully you’ve received notification you have a comment on your SIDRAT (great name) blogpost from me.

Many thanks for doing those. @Craig s watching the footie, but if I can suggest we break the […]

@HTPBDET

I’d never heard that Nathan Turner had anything to do with whipping up the Richard Hurndall farrago. How enormously sad. He really was a piece of work.

@HTPBDET Thanks, and thanks for your original post of musings on early Doctors which kick-started a lot of my thoughts.

You said – “JNT was behind the anti-Hurndall protest”

Really??

I didn’t know that – […]

@HTPBDET I’ve also moved the Memories and Companions threads up the Home page now. If they don’t quite fit for you and you do decide you want an adversaries or best episodes thread then let me know, although I’d […]

@HTPBDET After a bit of struggling I’ve discovered I can’t really post as you, so I’ve made you a blog “author”. Would you mind posting your post again as a blog? Basically I think you just need to hover over the […]

That’s a brilliant summing up @Phaseshift. Between you and @HTPBDET I think you’ve nailed the magic of the entire series!  You could also compare it to your favourite long term musicians – you may count yourself a […]

@HTPBDET – thanks for that! If it’s spoiler free I will dip in once I’ve actually got some work done…

Thanks @HTPBDET It’s not a case of moving things because you posted in the wrong place, we want to highlight your post for posterity (well, the life of this site) because it was so moving and well written. I hope […]

@craig

I also think that both the comments by @Juniperfish and @HTPBDET would make good additions to the blog roll if they are willing (I think @Juniperfish gave us permission, but it was a while ago, and it’s […]

@ScaryB –

“This phrase does not compute, LOL “

Ha!  It could of course mean Clara is actually the Doctor’s unknown delinquent son?

@HTPBDET –

“Who needs Guantanamo Bay when you have Twin Dilemma?”

I heard […]

It’s very easy to get lost in Deviant Art if you start to follow the Who trail (see also several posts by @JimtheFish @Juniperfish etc on page 1 or 2 of this thread). But I particularly liked this one (@HTPBDET I […]

@JimTheFish That did cross my mind, it’s such a moving story and a great piece of writing that it really deserves more prominence. @HTPBDET would you like to repost your regeneration post as a blog entry? No probs if not.

@ardaraith @shazzbot @HTPBDET –

Just catching up on your discussion of companions and the Docs morality – some illuminating and fascinating observations there, thank you.

For my money, I think @HTPBDET is […]
