They’ve had previous interests in the Earth  and pyramids too.

I was thinking it could be Rassilon and a web of time thing.  Particularly since  the

So looking it up on Tardiswiki  that particular room in the Tardis is called the

‘Architectural Reconfiguration System’.

Its purpose is to reconstruct particles to your needs.    Isn’t that really a lot like ‘simulation’?

What do Monks have to do with pyramids?  Something I remember from Native American

How many trial programs do you think the Monks are running?  Could be quite a lot.  This could

be only  1 simulation among many.  So killing yourself in 1 simulation what does that mean

in others?  Is it  the same scenario in every trial program.   Are there shadow Doctors in each

of them ?

So the Monks are trying to conquer the Earth by spreading the simulation over the “real” world .

The Doctor has to stop the program. He needs to create a patch program,  I’m going to make a wild guess

and predict that the Doctor is a better programmer .  He’ll figure out a way to “hack” the simulation.
