Wow! So many posts and bonkers new theories 😀

@Lula Great spot on Cumbria esp with the link to Oswald and Oswin. Anyone spot any Cumbrian refs in Cold War?

@Juniperfish – you’re on fire at the moment (both […]

  • Actually more to the point @lula I’ve been meaning to ask this for a couple of days; why, exactly, is the cloister bell ringing at all? It’s supposed to warn of imminent danger to the Tardis, not the doc (the […]

@Lula I guess I can live with that for a one off, as a sort of ‘getting to know the zeitgeist’ kind of thing. Although I know what you mean, US TV drives me mad, even our commercial stations carry less commercials […]

Thanks @Lula I’m going to be stuck in the hotel most of the week so the air conditioning will probably be more of a problem than the humidity. It does have a fantastic pool though. Was there 2 years ago for the […]

@Lula When is Doctor Who broadcast in the States? I’m travelling to Orlando for work next Saturday (I know, it’s a hard life) and don’t really want to miss it, if possible.

  • @Lula It would kind of make sense then that she had already in some way been linked to the doctor in AotD or else why else would she be placed right in the same place as all the other daleks who fought him?

  • @lula – Sindy is the British version of Barbie – I think considering it’s her 60th Birthday it was probably a little anniversary in joke.  I maybe wrong and it’s just a Barbie…

  • @lula @juniperfish – that vortex rose creates Clara; I don’t think it stands up when you look at what rose actually says. She specifically says she scatters words, a message to herself (not life). She says she can […]

  • @Lula thanks for the “Rose scattered Clara in time” theory link. Mmmn I don’t buy it either, but I like its thinking 🙂

I don’t know about the Barbie/ Sindy. It does bring the Nestene to mind as fellow fish […]

  • @Lula I believe it is a Sindy Doll rather than a Barbie Doll – as Sindy was launched in 1963 – would certainly make more sense

  • @Lula – ah OK good point; that would give a different context to the Docs reply, “there’s only one way you could possibly know that”.

But it doesn’t explain the commiseration from River since she knows he […]

  • <Screams> also, on my rewatch travels I see,  as mentioned by @Lula in our Spoilers section (but it’s not spoilers now) – in the stand-off with Skaldak, the Doctor’s screwdriver has a “red setting”. It glows red […]

  • @lula – well to be fair we’ve no idea what’s written on the cot, even if it’s his name, it could be *a* name but not *the* name, if you see what I mean.

Good point about the doc telling her something […]

  • PS @Lula – Good spot on the necklace – hadn’t noticed that at all.

Incidentally – anything to be made of Clara’s “Looks different” about her home when she looks out the TARDIS when they get back to earth?

  • @Lula Great first (proper) post. Looking forward to more. I agree that Smith’s speech should be nominated, even if the episode was a bit light.

Much food for thought. Not sure about “We are the world” though, […]
