I also feel that way in the garden. I noticed that a gent who helps me weed, mow &amp; mulch, often places more mulch on top of other mulch rather than turning the ground? I remember <a class='bp-suggestions-mention' href='https://www.thedoctorwhoforum.com/members/mudlark/' rel="nofollow">@mudlark</a> teaching me many wonderful things about soil &amp; its turning (among other stuff like archaeology, medieval churches &amp; ancient history).</p>

I would have liked to see her as a Companion.   The Time Hotel is, of course, a species of time machine. I&#8217;m sure it generates all sorts of time paradoxes.</p>

<p>we are unfamiliar with the black turnstone here, and so neglect to name the Eurasian/atlantic species ‘Ruddy.’ The former slipways from pier… a mile off the town… are sheltered from the breeze and people so that’s a favoured roost. They are very cute and partial to crumbs.</p>

They were fun to watch as they ran along the rocks looking for food, They are lovely and silly at the same time.</p>

When it melts there are a couple of weeks of brown. Muddy boring brown, yuck! It makes it so much nicer to see the greens and colours that are finally showing up.</p>

<p>My bf was/is a huge Bab 5 fan. And I preferred DS9. Fair to say B5 gave late DS9 it’s raison detre… forgive the font. B5 gave Trek the excuse to be dark… and NOT gunboat politics.</p>
<p>Lots to grind your teeth at tho… I mean DS9 and not just the Ferengi episodes. Our eldest started showing it to his gf. She was not initially impressed but it has grown on her. I watched it when it first aired. would sit up to late to record it on VHS and cut out the adds. It is part of the family culture, as much as Who and Blake&#8217;s 7.</p>
