As for the spinoff, it looks and sounds like it doesn’t even feature the same species as the Sea Devils. I think we can safely assume now that this “decision” on some unknown date in 2026 will include details that there will be no new series of Doctor Who in 2026, because there won’t be “enough time” to produce a series with all the special effects they claim are required!
