SPOILER, SPOILER, SPOILER...

@lisa  How did Ashildr/Me know to say to the Doctor in ‘The Woman Who Lived’ that Clara would die on him and also! blow away like a puff of smoke?

She meant that *any* human that she or the Doctor became fond of would, sooner or later, just die their little mayfly-death, blowing away like smoke and eventually forgotten in their long, long lives…[Read more]

Since alot of you (@pedant and @lisa mainly) were mentioning Florence I thought I would add my favorite of her songs. Which doesn’t actually happen to be hers:

But it is the best cover of a foo song that I’ve ever heard

@pedant: Thank you, as I said, I know nothing of Waterloo Station. 🙂

@mudlark: Agreed that the history of Waterloo Station aligns with the possibility of a forgotten street.

@lisa: Agreed some sort of future scene with Jenna Coleman as some sort of Clara is inevitable.  If nothing else, the way TV series are filmed, the order in which scenes…[Read more]

@spacedmunkee Dang!  Just looked up your link!  Good one!  Like The Great Intelligence and Clara wrapping around his timeline intersecting and the Raven casting it’s shadow and protecting at the same time.

@lisa Agree, just not ready for another Amy and Rory or Rose moment.  Too sad.

SPOILER, SPOILER, SPOILER...

@bluesqueakpip  I think there’s definitely a link between stories. The biggie, I would bonkerise, is that what we think is the story isn’t the story.

Good god(s)!  Now, there’s a chilling thought — a story hidden in a story (like a Clara hidden in the mind of a Zygon Clara . . . no, that’s just NUTS).

He asked her to see him – but right now, he…[Read more]

Well said. I think Clara and Jenna will always hold a place in our affections because it was Christmas 2012 (and her appearance in The Snowmen) that led to The Doctor Who Forum being formed (you can look at The Snowmen forum and see us staggering, drunkenly, into the light of a new dawn). That’s almost three years of debate and cogitating…[Read more]

@lisa  Yes, thanks for the link — I’ve referred to it in reply to a (new?) member posting a lugubrious comment on how dark S9 is and it’s been putting him/her off the show.

@janetteb  Yes!  Let’s see all that anxious quibbling about the different ways the show could be in format next year (not on this site, obviously, but on several others) do…[Read more]

Thanks for the link @lisa. I did not find it particularly spoilery just Moffat doing what he always does, talking without saying anything. (I meant that in a good way.) He has become expert at answering questions without giving anything away.) My favourite words, and they are not spoilery, (I hope) were  at the end. “Business as usual”. That that…[Read more]

@lisa

It’s not something that would especially bother me, but our Multi-Layer Spoiler Protection System(tm) is designed for the most twitchy :).

@lisa

I suspect that should probably be in the spoilers section (given that the url is itself a bit spoilery).
