    Perhaps the 50th will involve Three doctors. Ten, Eleven and the newly regenerated Twelve from the end of The Name of The Doctor!

    As an aside, as I saw in The Snowmen, TCH had a dirty TARDIS again, the Doctor commented on it this time!

    @haveyoufedthefish @davemorris316 great idea.

    It may not be related but I just re watched the snowmen which i think is when he first see the new TARDIS interior. When Clara first discovers and walks round the TARDIS, the exterior looks normal. But when she then goes back to it with the doctor escaping the ice governess (about 40min) it’s absolutely filthy and brown in parts.

    Could be just continuity?

    @thommck Maybe Tennant will return as the Doctor for a season after the 50th!!

    Maybe not. But when Tennant mentions he isn’t good at weddings, especially his own, (in Blink?) could he be talking about watching Smith get married to River in the 50th special?!!?

    And another thought, I’ve always thought it overtly and excessively emotional with Tennant saying he didn’t want to go whilst regenerating. Maybe it’s because at that point, he’s met Smith in the 50th, he knows what he goes on to become, or endure.

    @bluesqueakpip not taken as rude at all 🙂

    I LOVE reading all the theories, and that’s why I’m a member of this forum!

    But maybe the most bonkers theory of all is that a simple ordinary girl could possibly manage to do what the doctor is failing at (due to his memory loss, darlekisation or otherwise): beating the monster on ‘rings’, convincing/delaying the ice warrior, convincing the TARDIS to go to the other bubble universe which was dangerous etc?

    As you’ve all pointed out, I too think  the most prominent themes are ‘Love’ and the Doctor’s (forgetful) memory:

    “when are we going?”

    “always if I can remember how to do it” – surely this is a normal zip around in time in the same spacial place?

    @bluesqueakpip I actually think that if Clara was ‘normal’ this could be one of most original companions nu-who have had. They don’t need to have the universe revolving around them or be a space-time anomaly to be interesting 🙂

    @bluesqueakpip or she’s just an ordinary girl, hidden among these great/fun theories in plain site, and it’s the doctor that the focus should be on…

    @Luna @scaryb in Cold War. I can’t get Cumbria but there is a king…
    Grisenko as in the Professor is an anagram of  King & Rose
    So another Rose reference too!

    Hi there, new here and I too was ushered from the other site by the constant moaning. Thanks Craig!

    Loving all the theorising and the collective thinking. Sorry if this post is misplaced on this thread?!

    @ardaraith With the clear susan and grandfather reference to doc1 in the rings of Akhaten, to doc2 with the ice warrior in Cold War, and @htpbdet predicted reference of the Metebelis crystal in the next, this totals 7 episodes with a mention to all the 7 doctors of old who, leaving the three nu-who together in the 50th special. Or maybe that was the plan!

    I also think that this means the special will respond to the Bells of St. John episode as bookmarks to the 7 doctors episodes, so any theories of what is happening to the doctor or Clara will relate to something the GI’s doing, or did in that episode.

    To me, the doctor almost seems shocked or confused as to Clara’s ‘save the day’ speeches in both ‘rings’ and Cold War; he’s as wary of her as he was of Amy when she was a ganger and showing pregnant/not pregnant.

    Loving it!
