@Kharis I think a little humour is much in need today.
My attempts at souffle making thus far have been worse than Clara’s.
Cheers

@kharis Thank you for answering Kharis. I guess in my mind that cot was more important than that. And how the heck oh never mind lol. I think I will always think there should have been more than that to the reveal.

@Kharis: Yes, and after what happened to Amy and Rory, I strongly believe whatever the ending of Clara will be, it will involve something we have seen over and over and over.
With Amy and Rory, it was always some time paradox that threatened their relationship, and would Amy in the end prove her love and actually choose to be with Rory at all…[Read more]

@kharis Dunno if I agree with you about River having played a role in creating Clara, as Missy is the one who claims to have done so well in choosing her. So I think it far more likely that Missy has played a major role in creating whatever Clara is, rather than River.

“Not sure why the Doctor kept asking if Osgood was a Zygon or Human, since clearly the point from the beginning was it doesn’t matter…”
My take is that the Doctor was genuinely unsure of which Osgood he was talking to. I don’t know if he had an inkling or not, but either way he found this Osgood to be utterly convincing. I think he w…[Read more]

I can imagine that the Doctor will have to find a solution to Clara. That’s what
he does. He’s the ultimate problem solver. It might be his plan to add a new addition
to the Library family.I think the Doctor realizes that he needs to defuse what Clara becomes to keep peace in
the Universe. So maybe he is the creator of…[Read more] -

Yes the Library! Also reminded me a lot of Asylum of the Daleks when Oswin spoke
thru the Dalek eye piece and also in Magicians Apprentice same thing. Both are SM stories.
Reuses these devices a lot. I can see his influence in this Zygon story too by familiar
devices. Also when the Doctor said something to the effect of letting…[Read more] -

@Kharis Thank you for the welcome! I think the surviving Osgood was human, while I myself am Zygon lol! Although I don’t think it matters as Osgood herself said. My favorite episode is, though I’ve never sat and considered it, is probably A Christmas Carol. There was something just magical to me about that episode and the idea of the Doctor…[Read more]

Love to hear your stories! You always have an entertaining perspective about everything.@Geoffers @Bluesqueakpip
Regarding the song Amazing Grace, I immediately thought that since its a song about conversion
then has to be a subtle reference to Clara and the hybrid conversion. But I also can get the
Zygon hint too.…[Read more] -

I think the explanation that they have (thus far) gone with is the best : it doesn’t matter which one was killed. To answer that would be to answer the wrong question.

I don’t know if you know that the BBC has a careers section?
It depends what you want to do – one thing that did occur to me when I read your skillset was ‘researcher’. The traditional entry level job if you want more hands on production/direction jobs is ‘Runner’.
The Raindance page on finding film work might give you a few ideas.

@kharis Well, the Doctor did say the Zygons assimilate into their new world and become the person that they copy. Maybe the Clara Zygon forgets it’s not really Clara. Isn’t that the reason for the rebellion? The new generation does not want to forget who they are.

War is neither glamorous nor attractive. It is monstrous.
As a pacifist and the daughter of pacifists I concur wholeheartedly. I find it hard to understand how even in these days, when the immediacy of television reporting and the internet make it difficult to ignore the reality, war can still be glamorised and the soldiers who are…[Read more]

@Kharis That’s a great Dali Lama quote! What sort of science? Maybe get into the
special effects dept?@blenkisopthebrave Zygon Clara lets the UNIT team die. So they were
likely human since the Unit investigator named Jac was a human.
BTW – what ever happened to Malcolm? I like his charecter as a UNIT scientist -

You know, the mischievous side of me looks at the picture of Ashildr dressed in a similar way to Clara’s mum (excellent spot by @kharis) thinks of the bootstrap paradox, and wants to suggest Clara gets physically changed, has to swap clothes and ends up stranded back in time, where she stops a man being run over by a car, resolving her unwarranted…[Read more]

Just a few more random thoughts and observations before tomorrow and the next episode.
Firstly, the resemblance between the outfit worn by Ashildr/Me in the background of the selfie, and that of Clara’s mother which sharp-eyed @Kharis spotted. It probably is just the writers tweaking our tails – as @pedant said, ‘Beware the chain yank’, and the…[Read more]
