Looks like whatever the exact date, it’s going to be Sundays. I think that’s a good choice – Sunday evening has taken over as the ‘family drama’ slot, and Saturdays has become ‘live variety shows’.

hmmm…not sure what to make of that. I have always felt that a defining feature of the Doctor in all the incarnations from Hartnell to Capaldi was that they were identifiably “alien” rather than “relatable”.

Agree with @Blenkinsopthebrave, but –

All three Companions are eating.
In each case, time reverses itself.
It may be a specially made teaser, but it seems to be set after the three of them have met the Doctor. At least, none of them are completely freaked out by the time reversal.

Wow. I’ve never seen that before. What is that, an used prop from the movie? Apart from looking a bit like some kind of torture implement, it certainly bears similarities to the JW device, whatever it ends up turning out to be. It also looks a little bit like a lightsabre too…..

It’s got three settings. I suppose the sonic jokes with a female doc were going to be inevitable, so perhaps making them too obvious as to be worth making in the first place is a smart move.

If nothing else, it’s a gift for a caption competition….

I have to say the goggles are cool but I’m definitely not sure about the sonic looking quite so much like a sex toy….
