I don’t have a lot to add on this one.
At least Victoria’s screaming had a positive effect for her as it startled Kaftan.
As my hearing is a bit lacking in the high-frequency range these days, I had trouble hearing a lot of the Cybermen’s dialogue. I nearly switched the subtitles on. (I later found out that there weren’t any.)
I would like to…[Read more]

With the bumper crops of nettles, thistles and brambles in recent years, I would have thought that naked rambling was not a very practical idea.

Hurrah!!!!
I managed to get a ticket at a cinema that was convenient for me to get to on that day.
I am attending the AGM of Friends of DalesBus (formerly known as ‘the Yorkshire Dales Public Transport User Group’ that day.
I am the silly idiot who volunteered to put together the programme of guided walks that supports the Sunday DalesBuses,…[Read more]

In these days of multi-screen cinemas, I am not sure if they have usual screening times. I can’t find any mentioned on the Vue Cinema web site.
…….and I am not sure if they will be charging their standard charges for a special event.

There is still no information on the times of the screenings, so how are we supposed to know if we can attend the showings?
It seems that they are only interested in grabbing our money, and they are not being very efficient at doing that

Re: Fraser Hines
He was born in Horsforth, near Leeds, and going by his given name, may be of Scottish descent.
There are quite a lot of people around Leeds and the Yorkshire coalfields who have Scottish links (including my own (extended) family (by…[Read more]
