Moffat wanted the film posters to be in the Black Archive in ‘Day of the Doctor’ and a line about ‘Remember when they made those films about you’…
However, the rights proved to be too expensive.

The video in the link above has a small spoiler about Xmas (because it was live when I linked it). I’d advise discussion about this small revelation to be conducted over on the Spoilers thread, otherwise we might have to shift the link to over there & that would be a shame…
Last video I posted on the news thread had a tiny spoiler about the Xmas Episode (because it was live). Mark Gatiss will appear in it. But as who or what? Could he be reprising the Third Doctor?

It was like that with the Doctor Who 50th Prom. Very raw out of tune honking on the radio but all fixed by the TV transmission.
1 day for John Williams is a fast turn around though!
So the Radio Times article above says:
