@blenkinsopthebrave     I love the little ones in their costumes! Spiderman was so shy he clutched his goodie bag and hid behind his Mom. Too cute.

Happy or should I say spooky Halloween to all who celebrate. We had only 7 little trick or treaters so they got lots of goodies. Best of all there are a lot of candy bars left over! We had a fairy, spiderman, Ilsa , Black Panther, someone called the marshmallow DJ? and a really cute little ghostbuster. I dressed up in all my Doctor Who clothes.I…[Read more]

@blenkinsopthebrave  I know that SciFi is on Bell satellite but also on Crave (owned by Bell) which I think is a streaming Netflix type thing. Maybe Crave has a free trial?  I am really hopeless with this stuff. Sorry.

    Stay safe.

@dentarthurdent    I usually have to wait until the series is over and I see my son ,who tapes them for me. I am always a little behind except last series when I watched the first few episodes at a friends house. It was played with commercial breaks and that really gets on my nerves (they never get it right)  so I gave up and waited for my son to…[Read more]

I think I have to say that JW is the real Doctor whether some like it or not. She regenerated right in front of our eyes. and then fell to earth. For many people including my granddaughter she is their doctor.

@dentarthurdent  There have been many great companion doctor combos through the years and that relationship is the most important in the…[Read more]

@cathannabel     I am so sorry for your loss and like others here I wish I knew what to say at a time like this.

There is never enough time to be with our loved ones and we always want more. That is when we all wish we had a time machine. One more day or hour or minute to be with them. It will take time to heal and when that starts you will be abl…[Read more]

@dentarthurdent  I agree that the show is  for all ages and is more a family than children’s show.  It would have scared the heck out of me as a child and when my kids were young they were very sensitive viewers and I probably wouldn’t have let them watch a lot of it. One hour of cybermen or daleks would have meant hours of scared kids refusing to…[Read more]

@dentarthurdent   I also like the first part of Love and Monsters. I thought it was so nice that this group of people got together for one reason but became friends who shared so much more.  The silly monster reminded me that the show is made for children.

@thane16    dentarthurdent and @janetteb   Thanks for the warm thoughts, the lad looks better every day and will soon be trying to leave us. Next weekend is our Thanksgiving holiday so I am keeping him here until then. Some turkey and pumpkin pie should top him up nicely.

@janetteb  Thank you for asking about my son. He is getting better every day and even a bit bored, a good sign I suppose. He is our oldest son and is 47, our daughter is 42 and the baby boy is 37 years old. Wow, I am so old.

@dentarhturdent   Thanks, the boy is recovering well and  eating us out of house and home. It seems it was a bug that sta…[Read more]

@oochillyo   That is a good episode and fine with me but give me a few more days because my house is full of company and time is limited. I will watch it next weekend probably and then we can discuss it. Such fun!

    Stay safe.

@thane16   and @nerys    It totally sucks to come to that time in your life when the people you looked up to and cling to, leave you. Losing my Mom and Dad left me feeling lost and adrift for a long time until I remembered that I was my grown children’s rock and I had to be strong for them. The role of child had ended for me and being mother and…[Read more]

I have liked JW as the Doctor and I am curious how RTD would have written for her. It might have been great. I have always felt that she would have been good in some of 10s adventures. The writing and directing has let her down sometimes but she also shines in many episodes.

I agree that the Doctor has to be British and heshe should be a good…[Read more]

@oochillyo  What episode did you have in mind? I am in Canada so we might not be able to watch at the same time but I could watch and we could discuss it later. Let me know, I have all AG Who so any episode is fine with me.

    Stay safe.

@thane16   I am sorry about the loss of your mother.  I wish I had words that would make you feel better but only time will do that. We always hope there will be another time and sometimes that doesn’t happen and it is hard to live with but time will replace those feelings with warmer, nicer memories.

@aidan   Welcome to the site!  I also love the 9th Doctor and Rose, and coincidentally I have just started a re-watch beginning with ” Rose”. I watched “Dalek” just last night and even after 6 or 7 views I still get goosebumps when the Doctor realizes that the Dalek is helpless. Chris’s acting was intense and this show more that any so far sh…[Read more]

@dentarthurdent   I have not watched that one for ages. I did love the library but Clara hiding behind the shelves ,while the charcoal monster looks for her, is pretty frightening. I need to watch this one again. Oh yeah,  they convince the younger brother that he is an android. Now that is bullying!

    stay safe.
