@Rint Well in Season 7  Episode 1 Amy, The Doctor, and Rory are abducted by the daleks and they want him to destroy the dalek asylum. While on the asylum/planet they meet Oswin Oswald who helps them escape. Then in The Snowmen, The  Doctor is brought to the Victorian era to help a governess named Clara who looks exactly  like Oswin Oswald but they aren’t connected at all. Then in The Bells of St. John he finds another girl who looks like the other two but who only share parts of their names.

Oswin Oswald is from the asylum, Clara Oswin is from The Bells of St. John, and Clara is the governess in The Snowmen. So it is impossible she is in all places at once. Hope this helps.

Hello everyone. I’m back from retirement and I would like to discuss something that’s been bothering me since a little bit after the 50th anniversary. I wanna talk about fans saying “Rose” is their favorite episode.

I see them saying “Rose” is the best because it brought back the series and that is their stand alone argument why. This bothers me slightly because well that isn’t much to go on when you’re talking about quality. Now I do like the episode but I wouldn’t say it’s the best because it’s not really Doctor Whoey. I mean they’re was an awesome return of the Auton’s from Pertwee’s premier episode (which is one of my favorite post-regeneration episode) but no Timey Whimey or Spacey Whacy travel, and I’m not saying their needs to be any of that to make a good episode. All the episode really does is tell us what The Doctor is all about (timey spacey stuff) Rose and the almighty number nine. Which don’t get me wrong, it does that well but I don’t feel an introduction episode should be a favorite in my opinion.

If you guys could  spread the light on me and make me a little less frustrated by those people that would  be appreciated.

@scaryb I think she had to have been with Tennant  because she regonizes his face and says have we done this and this. I think all of the River Song that happened with Eleven was originally planned for Tennant but he left. If anyone is confused, I’t’s kinda like in 05 when everyone knew Eccleston regenerated from McGann even though we didn’t see it. But that was in 05!

Hello guys, I was watching a youtube compilation of (what I think is just coincidence) some lines diolgue that might connect Clara and River Song. Then it accured to me: Could River Song have had a few off screen adventures with Tennant’s Doctor(s) or do you think they were planned but Tennant left before the episodes could have been made?

Hey guys for Christmas along with a new Tenth Doctor’s sonic screwdriver, a mini TARDIS and some Doctor Who clothes I got a $126 toward purchases on Amazon. So I bought both The Eleventh Doctor’s sonic and The Master’s laser screwdrivers and The Fifth Doctor’s post regeneration/ first episod along with some other miscellaneous items.

I thought the episode was absolutely splendid. It finished off where Logopolis ended and finally ended The Master; and found it quite amusing that Doc #5 completely destroyed Doc #4’s scarf and thought it was interesting to throw back some of Doc 1-3’s era in but not as much of Doc #4. However I would like to see a little bit more of Doc #5’s character more and more of a spacey sort of alieny story. So if you could recommend me a story that would but fantastic: Like @chromedemension I’m trying to get as many classic episodes as I can starting with Regeneration episodes (Logopolis, Was Game, Planet of the Spiders, ect.) after that moving on to post regeneration/first episodes (Robot, Castrovalva, Time and the Rani, ect.) and AFTER THAT episodes with enemies that were brought back for the classic seried (Autons, Davros, The Master, ect.) so what do you guys think is the best Doc #5 episodes like that.<span class=”Apple-style-span” style=”-webkit-tap-highlight-color: rgba(26, 26, 26, 0.296875); -webkit-composition-fill-color: rgba(175, 192, 227, 0.230469); -webkit-composition-frame-color: rgba(77, 128, 180, 0.230469);”> </span>

@monochromedimension welcome and if your a fan of old who then I recommend you go on youtube and look up “Time Crash” it’s a very good minisode where The Fifth Doctor and The Tenth Doctor share a one scene story that mainly involves Tennant “fan-girlying” over his father in law’s Doctor.

Hello everyone. I was rewatching The Rings of Arkhaten and something dawned upon me: Could River Song be Susan’s grandmother? The Doctor and River are married but The Doctor doesn’t know her in the future. But that could also tie in with the Tasha (from the christmas special) being a future/past incarnation of River. What do you guys think.

Hey guys, I’m here to talk about Smithy’s departure.

First of Logopolis: Did anybody else get the little nod they did to Logopolis where Clara picks up the phone and places it back in the window (not sure what else to call it) the same the Fourth Doctor had.

The Face Reset: It was good. Started with Smithy’s classic chin movement, then hestarted to get all hyped up and excited, and then it moved to one his classic “Bad ass” speaches seen in The Eleventh Hour and The Pandorica Opens, then he swirled his hand knowing how regens usually worked and this time the effect was more magamay then Ten, Eleven, and Twelves regens.

Amelia Pond: Uhhhh. I didn’t like her appearance on the simple fact of she annoyed me. I think we saw to much of her and she had that special sort of feel to her: Like she was more special than The Doctor’s other companions.

The Regeneration: I loved it: We got some variety! As I said early the regen looked different than previous modern aged regens. Which as I said in a previous post I was longing for. And it happened so fast paced I loved and especially since we had the residual energy sort of effect with the face change.

Hey guys, I was curious about the subject so I googled “Which doctor is John Hurt” and one link lead to an interview of some sort and he kind of just steered around it so I have a theory.

I think when The Doctor was regenerating on Khan (I think that’s how it’s spell) and he drank the elixir the one overlapped the other (I was trying to find an example but I can’t) so it didn’t count as one of the original twelve.

Before they brought the Timelords back in the 50th, to extend the regenerations: I thought since the Timelor Counsel controls regeneration has seen in The Third Doctor’s Regeneration/ Planet of the Spiders and they were dead The Doctor and The Master, as seen in The Last of the Timelords, could go over the amounts of regenerations because it was more of a rule by the Timelords not an actual physical rule.

I also have another question: In the 50th it said that UNIT got the Time Vortex Manipulator from Captain Jack Harkness from one of his deaths but in the one episode from Doc #11 @fatmaninabox said they got it of of his hand?

No no @Purofilion I said it was idiotic for Davies to make him jump from a shape I’m estimating to be five times the sale of what his fourth incarnation died from.

Also a mechanism that NEEDS one person is to me that’s just lazy writing and Davies dieing for WILFRED I also found lazy writing, he barely knew him it’s buying a Christmas present for your best friend’s dad who’ve you meant once.

For the TARDIS crashing I have a theory on why which I posted on here before:The TARDIS has we know is a live thing (like a tree) and The Doctor regenerated six times The First, Fifth, Sixth, Eighth and a half, Nineth, and Tenth in the TARDIS now image you’ve lost a loved one, now imagine it six times to the same person you’d just have a mental breakdown.

I want to hear what you guys think of Tennant’s final episode(s) The End of Time. I personally I hate it for a few reason.

The Ninth Doctor’s Regeneration: One of the best doctors opened the new series, as a matter of fact I think he was the best doctor to open the new series with, in The Parting of the Ways, The Doctor sends Rose home so she doesn’t die with Captain Jack Harkness and himself; but she doesn’t like it and opens the TARDIS and she absorbs the time vortex, goes back, and destroys the daleks. So she doesn’t die The Doctor kisses her and obsorbs the time vortex into himself and regenerates into the brilliant tenth doctor. But in The End of Time, The Master is shown the time vortex and NOTHING HAPPENS so why did The Doctor need to regenerate.

Donna: Season 2 The Christmas Invasion: The Doctor get’s his hand cut off and uses the last of the residual energy to grow a new “FIGHTIN!” hand, Season 3 Utopia: Captain Jack Harkness finally finds the TARDIS after The Parting of the Ways and brings The Doctor’s the forgotten hand, In the two part finale of season 4 Journey’s End and Stolen Earth, The Doctor get’s shot by a Dalek and must regenerate; he uses the residual energy to heal himself but sends the rest into his hand then later Donna gets trapped in the TARDIS and touches the hand, wallah a (half human) clone of the doctor and a half Timelord Donna. The Doctor claims that she’ll die (similar to Rose) so he takes it out of her memory but if she remembers her brain will burn. BUUUT NOOOO in The End of Time he says “You think I’d leave my best friend without a defense mechanism” after she see The Master Race she lets of residual energy kills them and faints: SO IT WAS ALL A LIE.

The Master: Season 3 The Last of the Timelords, once the Docter defeats The Master he makes it so that nobody remembers Harold Saxon. In The End of Time it says The Master created a group of people to worship him so if his plan were to fail he could be (once again) resurrected which don’t get me wrong is a thing that he would do but NO ONE OUTSIDE OF THE SHIP COULD REMEMBER so who wrote The Sacred Books of Saxon to prevent it and who was the old women to get Mrs. Saxon out of prison or asylum?

The Fourth Doctor’s Regeneration: I think while writing the special Russell T Davies got lazy with all the things above  but the thing I hate the most was the reason The Doctor’s tenth incarnation’s reason for regeneration. The Timelords have escaped from the time lock and changed the master race back to humans and The Doctor leaps out of a spaceship and through glass onto the floor, ARE YOU KIDDING ME, one of the best doctor’s long rein ended because of fall damage: WHAT WAS DAVIES THINKING!?!?!??!!!!

The Tenth Doctor’s Regeneration: The Doctor is laying on the floor, The Master stands to his left and the Timelord counsel to his right, and a gun his hand he turns it to the counsel, to the master, to the counsel, and then to the master and says “Get out of the way.” and shots the engine. The head counselor says how they’re going back into the time war and blasts The Doctor with the metal glove and The Master starts blasting him with electricity as the counsel and The Master goes back into the Time War. The Doctor visits his companions and regenerates in the TARDIS with an explanation for it crashing. OH WAIT…..That would have been good but noooo The Master says “Get out of the way.” and after they go back to the time war Wilfred taps on the glass four times, The Doctor goes in rage mode and sacrafises himself, visits his companions, regenerates, and gives us no reason for the TARDIS crashing.

Maybe one if you guys could make be enjoy it a little more.

Thanks @bluesqueakpip I hadn’t realised they were members of UNIT. I have one more: In The Doctor Who Movie,the 12th incarnation of  The Master (in his Keeper of Traken set) get’s exterminated by the the daleks and his final wish was for The Doctor to take his remains to Galifrey and on the way there he escapes as a blob of goo/ snakes of goo. Also later in the movie The Doctor states that he’s half human, is it because he’s around so many humans apon his death is that why humans have to stay away from him while regeneration?

Also before 50th Anniversary I rewatched The Ark in Space and after the special Logopolis, The Caves of Androzani, The Movie, Bad Wolf, The Parting of the Ways, and as much as I didn’t want to The End of Time. While watching Logopolis I realized how much The Fourth Doctor changes in appearance and in character threw out his tenure.

Thanks @fatmaninabox for the explanation it helped a lot. But I have another question from the Season 4 Episode Turn Left.

The first thing related to The Doctor was how he would have died if she wasn’t in The Runaway Bride. She sees him drop the Sonic Screwdriver and either a cop or fireman says “It must have happened for him to fast for him to regenerate”

I don’t understand how they knew he was a Timelord, How a Timelord could regenerate, and how a Timelord can’t regenerate if their killed before the resiusal energy changes their form.

Hey guys I thought the 50th anniversary was fantastically brilliant, however what didn’t make sense to me was how “Rose” said the sonics were the same sonic but just with a different case but in the episode Smith and Jones Doc #10 puts his original sonic in the xray machine (not to sure what it’s called) and when he pulled it out the top was all burnt and he threw it away. Then in The Eleventh Hour Doc #11 used 10’s second screwdriver to mess about with electronic devices to show there was non terrestrial life on earth, which in the end destroyed the sonic. So how is it the same screwdriver, if one of you guys could explain that would be amazing.

Hello @craig I’m back! Don’t worry I’ll only be The Watcher expect for a few theories when big questions are asked like Hurt.

So I have 3 theories on River Song’s Sonic Screwdriver. First he could of created a loop. He could of kept it until their last meet and gave it to her for when sends her off to The Library(sorry I can’t remember the name) when he gave it to Doc #10 who then kept it untill…….

Second off The Eleventh Doctor could have use the TARDIS to jump back to The Eleventh Hour and grab the Sonic or in Smith ad Joans when Doc #10 used it to amplify the xrays to kill the biker; and when he had it put it in the TARDIS where Doc #11’s sonic to “fix” it when it emerged The Doctor reconized it as the one River had in Silence in the Library and Forest of The Dead I like The Eleventh Hour idea more because it would explain the green spots being all over not just around the top.

Third: What if Hurt was the one to change the Sonic to Doc #9’s but he used gold and red (similar to The Third, Seventh, and Eight Doctor’s Emitters) but grabbed Doc #10’s Sonic and held them together similar to partners in crime slowly pushing them forward (like two magnets) where they fuse together which results in the red setting gold color yhe neuro relay would come from the exstra emitter and the dampers and translusent liquid ring from exstra metal and others materials from Tennant’s and since Eccleston is after Hurt he would know to get the sonic (I’m guessing similar to how he got a new one at the end of Smith and Joans)

Those are my three theories I like the second the most what do you guys think oh and @craig I was just referencing what Doc #11 says to @craig in the 12th episode of season 6.

If I may wiggle in a quick theory in: Perhaps Hurt isn’t a Doctor at all just the existance of The Doctor if you will. In The Name of The Doctor, Doc #11 says “What, were you expecting a body I’ve had many bodies.” What I’ve noticed is that in the pictures and the big cliff hanger he had Tennant’s styled hair (season 4) so maybe during the time war an incarnation of the timelords didn’t fight the daleks but a 14th incarnation if you will, a small piece of all the doctors in one. Perhaps Tennant’s hair style, Hair color from Hartnell and Pertwee, maybe the overcoat from the sixth (and I beleive seven had one to) his voice sounds like he’s an older version of Eccleston, but his personality could be the rest like Troughton’s grumpyness or T bakers’s crazy unpredictability.

Hello, sorry to bug you guys some more but I just wanted to apologize for being such a burden.When I joined here as Doctor4 I was an arrogant Doctor Who fan wanting to join a community and I didn’t intend to troll or antagonize anyone, but you guys kicked me out and a few weeks later I rejoined as DrTennant and I realize I’m not as educated at Doctor Who or how to write a paragraph with perfect grammer or punctuation as all of you. So I think you guys should make it clear that this forum isn’t for kids wanting to show off their toys. Which that’s not what I was doing @fatmaninabox I figured you guys thought I was uneducated with the shows so I was just letting you know I was getting more familiar with the classic show an wanted a recommendation thanks by the way @bluesqueakpip

But for @htpbdet I wish I could have thanked him for when I joined as Doctor4 he was the ONE who made me feel welcome and like I was being listened to yes some of you welcomed me and were friendly but others got judgy quickly. So every time I look at my River Song’s Sonic Screwdriver I hope, hell I pray it reminds me of him, Good bye.
