I LOVED The Moment. Piper’s fabulous strut and her mimicking of Hurt’s words was an “oh she’s going there!” moment. I had second hand embarrassment for the Doctor except the Moment was worldly, kind & understanding. And of course she would be.

To me woke equals good manners and inclusivity. Thus it’s a good thing…. But it needs to be managed -I recall Pertwee being almost-“woke” sometimes & it worked. His expressions and his silence -the latter careful & convincing.

in the social messaging of Chibbers I thought it was overtly political – except I understand that’s both essential (plays & stories were always this) & part of Who’s rich history but something about the execution of their messages was clunky or unsubtle….
