Clara whispers: ‘Don’t revel in killing that chef with chloroform!’
21 May 2013 at 02:26 #10132
@Shazzbot – For links: Right click, select Copy image URL, then r-click & paste in address bar (should work).
21 May 2013 at 01:38 #10130Here’s one I made earlier. It’s Clara whispering to the Doctor not to read ‘Peter Rabbit’ to K-9.
20 May 2013 at 21:56 #1011220 May 2013 at 01:51 #9951Sorry I got muddled up – The GI meme IS from the show. (What was I thinking?) Bedtime, methinks!
20 May 2013 at 01:03 #994920 May 2013 at 00:55 #994820 May 2013 at 00:48 #9945Okay- That Points of View is now available to watch. Hear Dr Who fans whinge that the show should be axed, etc.
20 May 2013 at 00:41 #994320 May 2013 at 00:30 #9939Clara thinks: ”That Paul McGann didn’t hang about for very long!’
Then, suddenly…
20 May 2013 at 00:10 #9933@danmartinuk – Looking forward to your views on ‘Genesis’.
19 May 2013 at 23:37 #9930If you like the Movie-Style posters of Series 7, this will interest you…
19 May 2013 at 22:48 #9918@Shazzbot – I was being cheeky using that pic! I’m suggesting that fans will Photoshop Clara into old Who – I would have used an example, but no one’s done one yet. They will come. An Artform I tells ya!
19 May 2013 at 22:33 #9913@Shazzbot – Titanic (The tv series).

19 May 2013 at 22:25 #9909@scaryb – Ta for the Hancock. I think that ‘Spot the Clara’ Competitions will become a new artform in themself. For example, in this one she’s there on the Titanic, in the foreground, obviously watching Christopher Ecclestone’s Dr’s back!
19 May 2013 at 18:09 #9854
Did any classic series fans think of Goronwy from Delta & the Bannermen when the Dr mentioned retiring to Bee-Keep? There was always a suspicion that he was maybe more than human, perhaps a Time Lord even. Very Doctory, you see…
19 May 2013 at 17:58 #9852Any idea what the relevance of 10th April 2013 is? All I can up with is it was the day after the Trafalgar Square shoot.
19 May 2013 at 15:24 #9837They’re taking their time making POV available this week!
My favorite jibe comes from Oliver Bolton: ”…It hasn’t been very scientific at all.”
19 May 2013 at 15:11 #9832Dr Who was just slated by a few ‘Fans’ on Points of View. The usual Gruniad Troll arguments rose their ugly heads. The drama dept. reply mentions ‘Jenna Coleman’ (like her announcement @ the BAFTAs).
Hilariously cringeworthy!
Find it here in about 5 minutes: http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b020svzy
19 May 2013 at 14:37 #9820@juniperfish – They’re singing in the TARDIS!
19 May 2013 at 14:19 #9817The dropping of the flambeaux in the Tomb TARDIS seems to have some future significance.
19 May 2013 at 14:02 #9809@badwulf – Just before 2 (Troughton) runs past , where the palm trees(?) are. Hint – Use the pause button!
19 May 2013 at 13:49 #9800All Drs were there (‘8’ was hardest to spot though). Also a Yeti made a brief cameo! The battle which caused the Dr’s death is intriguing. Who were the participants? The Tomb TARDIS seems to contain the same window crack that was caused by landing on Trenzalore…
19 May 2013 at 13:40 #9798This is exhibit 2 in Whispermen influences… Oak & Quill.
19 May 2013 at 13:39 #9797@whisht – Here’s what you were looking for…

Can’t find a pic of Death’s 2nd kill, where he explains: ‘I just stick my hand in and….SSQUEEZZE!’
18 May 2013 at 23:01 #9660This is Olds now,but we have been in Lockdown for a week. BAFTA interview. No spoilers.
18 May 2013 at 22:43 #9651Liking Dr Who gets you into some strange & embarrassing situations sometimes.
For instance , today I bought the Sun newspaper (for the Who article).
‘It’s not for me, honest. It’s for my dark nemesis…’
18 May 2013 at 21:37 #9628The Whispermen are riffing off Judge Death – Hurrah!
‘The crime is life, the sentence is death!’

Not running as of yet…
18 May 2013 at 19:52 #9567Forrest Gump arrived early…
18 May 2013 at 17:56 #9544@scaryb Master & Cherub toys are sold separately but don’t they make a nice pairing? Perhaps they met down at the Garden Centre?
As we hurtle towards the finale, my heart rate is soaring…
18 May 2013 at 17:48 #9543Dr Who theories: Happily I’m in the dark as to the true answers. The possibilities are (almost) infinite…
I’m sure we will all kick ourselves once the credits roll – or maybe not – perhaps the clues were as cryptic as a Ted Rodgers 3-2-1 Q&A?
Did that leaf fall or was it pushed? Who in that shop gave Clara the Dr’s phone number?
Who is Clara? Why is she The Impossible Girl?
A sex change? An upgrade?
A twin? A subset? A reflector? A sliver? A shard?
An echo? A future echo bleeding back(wards)
Someone who’s been in the Dr’s cot? Family?
Was she adopted? A Tenza?
If she’s ‘Dr Who the Show Incarnate’, then she’s not a zombie (or is she?!?). The show died and rose from the dead- it’s not a reboot, it’s more like version 2.1 (yet a continuation)…..
The Ghost of Universe 1.11?
An Angel?
A Valkerie?
Queen of the Universe?
The Host of The Great Intelligence?
A Song Key?
A Nanny?
A Granny?
The Watcher?
The Dr’s 2nd cousin twice removed?
His girlfriend? (The Dr is a bigamist, remember)
Any combination of the above (&/or others)
On the Dr’s name: I assume if this is answered at all it will result in a million questions…
The expectations for this episode are huge – Presumably we’re about to learn the big twist that Steven Moffat’s been smirking & boasting about for 5 years…18 May 2013 at 00:30 #9503
If you like toys, I got this from here…
http://merchandise.thedoctorwhosite.co.uk/doctor-who-3-75-inch-action-figures-series-7/
Funny – the new 3.75” figures on said page remind me of the old Dapol ones, as they’ve lost the detail of the 5” figures (Which this Master & Baby are)…..

15 May 2013 at 15:10 #9209@phaseshift – Apologies for posting the Dark Mirror Sofa. Nice to see the Iron Giant.

15 May 2013 at 00:34 #9152That DWW Crazy Caption 1# is probably unbeatable. It’s my screensaver & will take something juicy to replace it.
Thanks also to @phaseshift for originally suggesting I might contribute to the blog. (Sorry – I let that slide!)
Just think: In 1979 Dr Who Magazine was 12p. Today it’s £4.75.
15 May 2013 at 00:09 #9148@craig This is from Doctor Who Weekly Issue 1. The actual link is from here:
http://dezskinn.com/Marvel-UK-5/
The page shows exactly how he made his dummy/mock up Issue 0# to make sure he’d nailed it.
I met Dez Skinn a couple of years ago. He got the magazine so right for the time – hence the lingering nostalgia now. It’s all coming Full Circle!
P.S. – The winning entry was ‘Now don’t forget to smile when we get to the counter, chaps!’
14 May 2013 at 23:57 #9145For anyone who thought my caption idea was ingenious & original.
