@TardisBlue *waves back* My pleasure – simply one quick search away. I hope a lot use the opportunity! Haha, I just remembered Marta’s journey around earth to tell everyone to think of the word ‘Doctor’ when the countdown ends. Will be something like that for me personally.

I am doing something similar @TardisBlue. I invited the only friend who…[Read more]

Hope you all have a great time meeting up and I am genuinely sorry to miss it. Looking forward to the post meeting stories and also how your impressions of each other in RL compared to the online perception. Also…[Read more]

@craig, @Time Lords, The article above posted by @DanMartinUK  is great, but it might be judiciously moved the Spoilers page. I am thinking of @ScaryB in particular, who probably should not read it.

Nice one @DanMartinUK

Hopefully see you on Friday* – call it research! (C’mon where else are you going to get such massive, bonkers, insights into our fave programme?! (How many of us – 14? That’s a whole (almost) random sample in…[Read more]

@DanMartinUK‘s blog on The TV Movie is now up at the Guardian. He has included a tribute to @HTPBDET.

Thanks, Dan.

@Shazzbot

I saw it brewing – I suspect it wasn’t wilful trolling, but that sociopathic bone that seems too common on t’interwebs, a sort of narcissism-of-anonymity that makes some blind to context.

(A year or so back I was visiting relatives oop t’north and took their dog for a walk. Now, Zack is an amiable sort of mutt but does like to bomb…[Read more]

Many thanks for those words @DanMartinUK. You know your always welcome, whenever you have a moment.

@shazzbot

It makes sense to move the posts to the blog if it’s possible. I know we used to struggle with that in the past.

Very saddened by the news regarding @HTPBDET.

For anyone reading who doesn’t know, the site was born directly from the desire of a number of enthusiastic posters on @DanMartinUK ’s excellent Guardian blogs, which started in 2010 with Matt Smiths inaugural series. It’s a bizarre thing, and may be the first time a community has ever developed from…[Read more]

@scaryB, @JimTheFish, @WhoHar, @shazzbot, @craig, @all,

The more I think about @HTPBDET‘s wonderful posts on this site, I am also reminded of his erudite and civilised contributions on the Guardian site. For that reason, I hope @DanMartinUK hears of his passing. While @HTPBDET‘s posts are easy for us to access and re-read, it would wonderful if…[Read more]

In his latest Guardian retrospective, @DanMartinUK suggests that McCoy’s The Happiness Patrol is the gayest Who story ever put to screen.

Learn more about what he calls a “pink noir” here:

Final twitter digest for now – Ian Levine has promised to eat a pair of  Phil Morris (current episode finder)’s socks if he’s found over 100 epis, and Chris Chapman (DW doc director) has promised to eat a pair of Ian’s. So I’m guessing it’s less than 100!

@DanMartinUK has reached Remembrance of the Daleks in his Guardian classic episodes blog.

@DanMartinUK , and also @Shazzbot @ScaryB @Blenkinsopthebrave et al

I’m quite happy for the forum to feature on Buzzfeed (although slightly wary of the strain it may place on the server if we get a lot of visits 😕 )

As far as I’m concerned each member is the owner/copyright holder of their own posts and the site has no rights in them at all. So…[Read more]

@DanMartinUK @Shazzbot @Craig

Thanks for nice comments Dan.  This forum is very much the wayward offspring of your Graun blog 😉  So are Shazz and Craig summarising theories or do you need someone to do that?  I think most can be treated as collective efforts of the forum hive-mind except @Juniperfish‘s red/blue bow tie and Isis myth theories, [Read more]

@DanMartinUK

You do realise how many extraordinary bonkers theories that fit the criteria of “more insane than what’s actually happening” have been canvassed on this forum, don’t you Dan? Of course you do.

There have been theories on what was happening in seasons 5, 6 and 7 that were probably much better than what actually happened. The truly…[Read more]

@fatmaninabox You’re featured on this BuzzFeed article, http://www.buzzfeed.com/danmartin/how-the-internet-reacted-to-the-new-doctor-who-teasers, well your words are anyway, @danmartinuk blanked out your pic!

@DanMartinUK – welcome! Hope the new position as Entertainment Editor of Buzzfeed is treating you well (after all the times I’ve whored this site on your columns on the Guardian, some payback must be due). […]

@DanMartinUK has a great sense of timing. On my first day back he reviews “Trial of a Time Lord” in his continuing series.

@DanMartinUK enters dark territory with Colin Baker in his series of retrospectives, looking at Timelash. I don’t think we are in any danger of revisiting this as part of our own series recaps (which would be an […]
