@winston Hope you get better soon. I always watch Doctor Who when I’m sick. I also remember a story of David Tennant watching Doctor Who to feel better when he was a child and had a injury or illness. It’s always best to have The Doctor when your sick.

@thane16 Hi syzygy, I just saw you mentioned me in a post just over a week ago. Sorry I didn’t reply back right away, still working on a lot on my end. I only want to clarify my point of view and have that be it because with the amount of hate crimes accouring in the United States right now, I would feel more comfortable if we just didn’t talk…[Read more]

@janetteb Sorry I didn’t reply back to this post right away. Thanks for agreeing, a lot of people can willfully ignore the importance of how a word was intended. I think it’s great that “times are a changin'” and we do get to have conversations about these topics inorder to find a solution. We just need to keep fighting inorder to progress. Thanks…[Read more]

@janetteb @nerys @whisht Funny story about the councillor, janetteb. I don’t understand the need for the terms “miss”, “mrs” or “ms”. I’ve been called all these things along with “sir”, “mr” and once “master. (I wear clothes designed for both genders. As long as it’s pratical I’ll wear it. People also call me by nicknames that sound like male…[Read more]

  • @missy Sorry to hear the bad news. Times like this are never easy. I hope you and your OH get all the help you can and you’re lucky to have three children to help you in this situation. We’re all here for you.

@nerys I agree, never understood the term “actresses”. For me when people use the word “man” in terms such as “fireman”, I always figured it was referring to mankind, as if to view us as a species instead of gender form. I really never understood why we put labels on eachother and than judge eachother for them.

    Hi everyone, I see we’re still…[Read more]

  • Hi everyone. It’s been awhile since I’ve wrote anything on the forum. Wish I’ve been more active here over the past few months. Haven’t even said much about our new Doctor. Hope it’s still relevant to analyze her character. It’s that something really struck me about this Doctor and I haven’t seen anyone else mention it online. This Doctor is so…[Read more]

  • Alright, I finally got done moving! Oh I missed this, I’ve been wanting to write for awhile but I couldn’t. Just got the internet and I’ve been taking care of my dog. First week in a new house and he had to be taken to the vet. He has cancer and I’ve been taken care of him, spending most of my time with him. I really need this right now. Feels…[Read more]

  • @tempusfugit I never understood the complaints about him not being handsome and young. When he was cast it made me worry about The Doctor’s personality changing and made me think he would be cruel instead of a hero. However after his first episode I suspected he became my favorite, everything I worried about being proved false, but I wanted to…[Read more]

  • @ddoherty95 Wow, I was listening to Irish music when I read your response to me. I didn’t know you were Irish, I though you were from England. I can almost hear the Tenth Doctor speak when I read your posts, I have a theory why. I love that you included a sketch of the TARDIS, I hope he replies back soon.
    Hello there, @tempusfugit! It’s nice to…[Read more]

  • @missy I have written the letter! I’ve even included a sketch of his doctor as a gift, but I haven’t sent it yet. Work is requiring me to relocate (my new reason for not being on the blog in awhile) and I don’t want to send a letter without my new address on it. The only fan letter I have ever written was to the BBC expressing my hopes for…[Read more]

  • @kharis Oh, I’m still sad about Peter leaving as well, I’ve been re-watching his and Matt’s episode as well but this trailer made me so happy. This has been the easiest time between two doctors I’ve had to go through, and I only needed to wait a day to see Matt’s first episode. Jodie is already The Doctor to me, she was the moment I saw her. I…[Read more]

  • @janetteb Oh, I didn’t know Peter Davison’s son was acting, I hope he can be on the show someday. That would be great. I knew one of Patrick Troughton’s sons was in Last Christmas, I didn’t know they were both on the show. I also love RTD appearing at the end, one of my favorite moments. Sorry it took me so long to reply to a conversation we were…[Read more]

  • @ddoherty95 Fandabidoesey is a brilliant word, I love to say it. I won’t say a word to your English teacher.

@janetteb I just heard of the Five-ish Doctors this year and first watched it two months ago. It was hilarious and I had to recommend it to every fan of Doctor Who I know. After watching more of the classic series, I’ve got to see all of…[Read more]
