    @psymon

Have you got a link for the video the first time we saw Jodie and the plinth?

@blenkinsopthebrave …, the connection between Brendon and Yama being discovered as babies is fascinating,…

I’m totally blanking out on this. Who is Yama?

Also, I agree with you that there are hints of Graham and Ravio heading off together into the sunset.

@psymon I agree with your take on Graham’s verbal stumbling as he introduced himself. I…[Read more]

Or maybe they were entities who simply assumed the appearance of the father and the senior policeman.

I noticed the different reactions when I rewatched as well. I think you’re probably right, Mudlark – the minders assumed the appearance of the two people that Brendan would trust most in all the world. His…[Read more]

  • On this one, I find myself agreeing with both @psymon and @whisht.

In order to explain why, I would compare what we just watched with “The Pandorica Opens” and “The Big Bang”. When Moffat did that resolution to his first season, he had seeded the entire season with indicators and references that would pay off in the conclusion–the crack in the…[Read more]

Agree with pretty much all of what you both said @psymon@nerys.

It was a 50 min trailer tbh. We’ve still got the same questions we had at the start of the episode and more.

And yes I thought that too regarding Cybermen, they get their hands on the Cyberium so are in reality able to rebuild their empire as it was in ruins… but there’s only…[Read more]

Agree @psymon. Think Master and Timeless Child will be cleared up this series, but as much as I’d like to see Ruth again, they could potentially try and cram to much into this 2-parter and ruin it.

I’d save the Ruth Doc stuff imo. Keep the excitement going.

@missrori. Is the Cyberium the thing the Alliance sent back through time to destroy the…[Read more]

Some responses to the comments of others:

“Doctors”: is this show good? It seems as though every second Doctor Who cast member has been on it.

    @psymon
“they are annoyingly inconsistent this season about fixed points, multi-verse theory, cause and effect, butterfly effects”

Mmm. Although the new Who has not strictly stuck to a plan, several…[Read more]

@psymon     While it’s entirely possible that Yaz will leave the team, I’m not convinced by the argument that her disobeying the Doctor means anything. Isn’t that what all companions do?

I didn’t get the feeling that she dismissed Jack’s warning without care, but given what was at stake, when would the Doctor ever have done differently…[Read more]

So the Cyberium is a meta Cyberstamp equivalent which we had absorbed in The Next Doctor and as @Psymon mentioned above the obvious absorption of the Cyberium by the Doctor allows a mind timey wimey Cyber screw too.

Mind wiping by Timelords, this allows for the possibility of of  Jo Martin Doctor (Dr Foster from Gloucester) to be a future or…[Read more]

  • @psymon My theory — given what the titles of the next two episodes are, and especially with word getting out (i.e. filming dates) that we probably won’t see Series 13 until well over a year from now — has it that most of this season’s plot points will be wrapped up in the next two episodes, with anything left being held over for the holiday…[Read more]

@galaxymage I commiserate with you about the commercial breaks. Even watching it on demand, there are still short commercial breaks which disrupt the flow. I’m always happy when a season moves to Crave, and I can watch these stories as they were intended to be shown.

I thought this episode was good. Yes, there was a message, but they didn’t beat…[Read more]

Perhaps the contrast between last week’s episode caused me to be a bit harsh in my comments yesterday evening, but I certainly didn’t think it was as bad as Orphan 55 and, as I said, it held my attention. After a second viewing, now that perhaps I am in a more tolerant mood, I feel less inclined to be critical, but I still have the…[Read more]

Thought the episode was good. Difficult after the expectations raised by last weeks blockbuster.

Agree with @psymon regarding the difference between Tennant and Whittaker when explaining things. I also always think the best Doctor’s are the ones who demonstrate anger the best. Whittaker doesn’t ever seem to angry, she showed it a little more in…[Read more]

Well, I enjoyed this quite a lot. It was fun seeing the different members of Team Tardis showing up into the different ongoing situations, and working out how they all connected up. So glad that Adam and Jake were given a happy ending, didn’t think that was coming and I was so pissed off!

I liked the lack of an overt villain in this one. While i…[Read more]

I pretty much agree with @jimthefish here. I personally found this one very disappointing. For me it fell (as so many have) into the ‘great idea and set-up for a story that was ultimately let down by being poorly executed’.

I was pleased that the environmental issue was done a bit more subtly than in Orphan 55, also the supporting cast were,…[Read more]

Even the police officer being married to the astronaut gave me an eye roll

I don’t see why. For someone to rush to Hong Kong from the UK on the off chance that Adam was alive (and the texts weren’t some kind of sick joke) Jake would have to be either Adam’s adoring brother or his husband. My first assumption was ‘brother’, because the…[Read more]

Yes, I definitely got the impression that the split into different investigating teams has been happening a lot more than we’ve seen on-screen. We’ve seen it a couple of times this series, but they keep referring to off-screen adventures, so it’s not too big a leap.

If all three actors are leaving at the end of the series (Doctors…[Read more]

Ah, I had forgotten…There is a good theory that @mudlark has developed over on the “Spoilers” page, that may well be the explanation.

But I still find it interesting that they go to so much trouble to give us specific dates and ages in the episode. Perhaps more catnip, as @whisht notes.
