I rarely have any good theories and I don’t now, but that Flood women is driving me crazy. Sometimes she seems very menacing and creepy but then she is cheeky or funny. Wait, maybe that was my Nanny?

No matter where you look even in the 50s  she is there being all mysterious.I am enjoying this series so far but I can’t wait to find out who she…[Read more]

Well, I liked all of it from the scary start to the finish. I have loved the mix of live action and cartoons since I saw Gene Kelly dance with the mouse from Tom and Jerry when I was a little kid. Then I thought it was magic and after this episode I still do. I just wish the Doctor and Belinda were animated a little longer.

The music as usual was…[Read more]

@scaryb  I like your new picture. Scoot is perfect, he cleans and polishes and he is so cute. This little guy has oodles of personality and I want him.

@dentarthurdent   I love a good dog story. We live on a creek and all my dogs have loved to swim in it just for the fun of it. Are there sharks or other bitey things swimming about down there? It just sounds so wonderful to be swimming in a lagoon with the fish and a dog.

I hope your house and garden are safe and sound when you get home.Have f…[Read more]

I enjoyed it most of the time. It was fast paced and timey- wimey and had lots of running down corridors. The Doctor has a reluctant companion who just wants to go home but it looks like home has been destroyed. Wanting to go home feels very real  because if all of that had happened to me that is exactly what I would want. Now the Doctor is…[Read more]

@scaryb   Thank you, I intend to replant some new trees next week. Might as well get started to make some positive repairs.

We do get some cold weather in winter and -20 isn’t too extreme where I am.Mind you we also get into the 30s in the summer sometimes. It is all happening here.

@craig    I will be happy whatever happens.

Congrats on the new job and getting to walk past the Tardis every day. What fun. Thank you also for this site. It is a great place to be.

@blenkinsopthebrave   @nerys  @dentarthurdent   @janetteb     Thank you all for your kind words and encouragement. Yesterday was a sad one and I guess I had a wobble or a wibble? We went to our town and were shocked all over again by the damage we saw. So depressing if you are a tree lover. Many of the trees we lost were planted by me, some up…[Read more]

@thane16   We had a terrible ice storm 12 days ago that almost had me curled up in a ball on the floor from sheer terror. The rain started to freeze in the afternoon and just kept falling all day and night coating everything in at least a 1/4 inch of ice or more by evening. By nine pm the branches on trees all around us started to break and fall a…[Read more]

@thane16   I am happy you are all safe and dry. Floods are devastating and I hope your people recover quickly. You have to have a sense of humour about these “life things” or you would curl up in a ball on the floor and cry. Wait,  that might just be me but you know what I mean.Keep safe and dry.

@blenkinsopthebrave    My daughter is on Vancouver Island and we have visited often and it is a wild paradise. A day on the Pacific Trail  and I was reminded of my place in nature. I was part of it. I hugged the biggest tree I will ever see and marveled at the stormy Pacific Ocean. I watched bear cubs play on the beach and little deer who wan…[Read more]

@janetteb We have had a lot of snow  this year and it is beautiful , like a glittering white fairy landscape.  Winter is wonderful if you have a nice warm house and if you don’t have to travel too far. Being retired I have the…[Read more]

@blenkinsopthebrave   Thanks for this.  It does look exciting and even a little scary and I can’t wait. I agree with @janetteb that the cgi looks great and the episodes look action packed but I also like some coziness. As @ps1l0v3y0u says it does look flashy. Bring on the flash.

@janetteb    We adore the Detectorists  and have watched them all a few times. The show is a love letter to people and the hobbies they like. The whole cast are great at creating amusing characters who go about the business of real life in between times spent with their metal detectors. I like the meetings of the detectorists club where they sho…[Read more]

@janetteb     @nerys  @dentarthurdent  We were talking about this episode  and I had to watch it again. I still can’t say why I like it so much because there is just so much. @dentarthurdent  @nerys     This one was a great episode. That long ship corridor and the ever growing fake Doc and Donna almost made me queasy, like a fever dream. The closer they got the larger they grew! They gave me the willies.

It had a good puzzle , a visit with Newton and a little robot. This felt very Who to me and I enjoyed it all. The…[Read more]

@nerys  I just watched these a little while ago and I enjoyed them all. I love the Doctor and Donna combo and I was thrilled to see them together again along with Donna’s family and Unit. Donna gets her memories back and the Doctor gets his friend.
