It’s the one thing we’ve never had at an Anniversary Special. We’ve had reunions of the past Doctors. What if this one includes past Doctors – and a future one?
I like that – you’re good! 🙂
16 May 2013 at 13:00 #9344Prequel speculation
Prequel speculation
Prequel speculation
Surprise regen – With Moff being so sneaky in getting JLC in early we’re just trying to cover all bases. And trying to see if he can top Clara PR-wise. Haha – that’s the problem with being the showrunner – you can never win. We all expect him to top whatever his last “thing” was. But also because he’s trailed “gamechanger” and we know from previous interviews that while he loves and respects Who (blah blah blah) the back story is, frankly, a pain in the ass for writers! Not that I’m advocating taking Moff’s word for gospel of course 😉
16 May 2013 at 12:35 #9341@thommck 10 satsumas huh? does @satsumajoe know about this??
Meme for the Day – Suggestion from @bluesqueakpip which grew out of discussion about how the Dr remembers his past selves. Imagine if they all live in his head and can comment whenever they feel like it! Crowded isn’t the word 🙂 What would these “backseat Doctors” say –
Suggestions for ‘backseat Doctoring’ –
From Bluesqueakpip –
“I wouldn’t have done it that way – I’d have offered him a jelly baby.”
“Do you really need that sonic screwdriver so much?”
“For heavens sake, Doctor, reverse the polarity!”
“I’m going to cry…”
From ScaryB –
“Come along m’boy, come along!”
“Oh my giddy aunt, whatever do you think you’re doing?!”16 May 2013 at 12:31 #9340LOL at old school fanboy reaction to River and the Dr have been living in virtual bliss in the library all this time! Works for me but maybe a bit fanfic shippy?
16 May 2013 at 12:23 #9337@bluesqueakpip – “the potential Doctor” – you mean like final season Buffy with potential slayers? Not sure that works for Who. The Slayer was always seen as someone completely different from her predecesors, just sharing some of the same talents and destiny. The Doctor is different in that he has always been seen to be the same continuous person (with admitted gap between 8 and 9).
@whohar – I quite like that re 50th thoughts. There are quite a few theories circulating round here re how to achieve a reboot. For that to happen there has to be some way of basically packing the past into an old trunk and putting it in the attic while the Doctor sets off on new adventures. But how to do that without saying it doesn’t exist any more.
I’m still hankering after a faulty regeneration/it was all 10’s fault hence exploding tardises – cracks in time – need for reset theory
16 May 2013 at 12:11 #9334Continuing prequel discussion…
Spoilery if you’ve not seen the prequel
I didn’t hear any refs to RoA – where was that? Thought it was “the day we went to Trenzalore?” Neither of them looks very happy to have found out! Seems to be 2 versions of each – 1 frozen/waxworked – the mood changes when each is beside the still version of the other. Props dept 😉 Space museum with them as exhibits in alt timeline?
16 May 2013 at 11:58 #9330@bluesqueakpip He can’t die in fact – there has to be seen to be a continuation in some way of his atoms or “essential Whoness” or there would be uproar! And I do tend to agree with @miapatrick re the value of memories in Who. It’s intriguing tho – off to ponder a bit more (ie do some work!)
<River alone in the library with no Dr in the universe *sniffs*>
Backseat Doctors contd – “Oh my giddy aunt, whatever do you think you’re doing?!”
16 May 2013 at 11:40 #9328Prequel discussion OK on here? Sorry came late to it – rampant paranoia last weekend about spoilers esp after someone posted that it gave everything away. (Having watched some of the trailers post episodes I’m definitely avoiding them but decided to go for the prequel)
Not much to add – but haven’t noticed anything about the settting (unless it’s been on the spoilers thread. Which I’m avoiding. Till Sunday then I’m diving in there to see what you’ve all been talking about, LOL!!). Why does it look like a walk through the Dr’s “back pages”? Everything’s in there – much like Mr Webley’s museum. Are we looking at a Space Museum or Land of Fiction type scenario? Is the reason Mr W wasn’t saved at the end of NiS because he’s the curator? (he’d his own means of escape arrranged, or he’s meta to the story?)
16 May 2013 at 11:32 #9325@thommck – Haha, that’s a nice touch with the Beano. Tho presumably there are no Who references in the reprint? Maybe they thought they might as well run off a whole batch when they were asked to do 1 or 2 for the Beeb! Love “How to draw the world ending with a parp!”
16 May 2013 at 11:22 #9324Can we discuss the prequel on here or should I move to news?
16 May 2013 at 11:19 #9323@bluesqueakpip My first reaction to this –
But if that’s the case, he really does have to ‘die’ this time. I’m currently leaning towards a scenario where his past, his memories are wiped – and while he does have some knowledge of what he was, they’re not his (or her) memories. They’re a story he’s (she’s) been told.
was – Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
🙂
My second was – that’s interesting. You mean “die” metaphorically? So that there would be some continuation of the person ie we would see the connection to the previous 10/11? Could still be Matt? So Series 8 and on would see him essentially starting afresh? Maybe meeting daleks, cybermen (who would possibly know more about him than he does himself) etc like it’s the first time? Hmmm.
Is the logical conclusion of erasing yourself from databases that you eventually erase yourself in fact? You just get sort of thinner till you fade away completely. With only Clara as (or the key to) all his memories/the stories.
So all the old canon did happen but it just isn’t remembered by anyone any more? Has it been retconned out? I can see the fanbase have some problems with that 😉 Or would there still be a Dr-shaped hole (just in case it doesn’t go down at all well!!)?
Alternative (completely unconnected) theory time (it’s that stage of the week) – The Dr is actually an insane dalek having a (very long) dream of being a Time Lord?! Probably being played out on a video monitor, transmitted through the wires attached to its brain (Shame to wake it up really)
16 May 2013 at 10:52 #9319LOL @bluesqueakpip
I meant more like ghosts or as memories – a bit like dead family, but a bit more intimate since he will presumably remember being them. Remembered just occasionally, when he wants to. Or has a metacrisis. Otherwise crowded isn’t the word!
Further suggestions for ‘backseat Doctoring’ – “Come along m’boy, come along!”
@whohar – I heard that about the other versions – would like to see them, just for interest. Are they on any of the DVDs do you know? Ha! I’d forgive Tennant’s Dr anything! (but a bit of judicious editing wouldn’t have gone amiss 🙂 )
16 May 2013 at 09:34 #9315@miapatrick Beautifully put. I especially liked
he has the memories of all these different ‘doctors’, including their death… maybe new personalities are necessary to cope with living so long
I wonder if previous Doctors “live inside his head” like Troughton says of his dead relatives…
16 May 2013 at 08:41 #9312@whohar Agreed. Time Lords don’t regenerate till they are in a situation in which, if they couldn’t regenerate, they would die. It’s a more fundamental process than just changing shape. Hence T’s reluctance to go.
16 May 2013 at 08:33 #9311I’ve usually found Who types to be gregarious and amusing company….
Truckles… asgill…???!
😉
16 May 2013 at 08:31 #9310Those storm troopers cause trouble wherever they go! But what I want to know is what Judge Dredd was doing – should he not have been stepping in to sort it out (I am the law and all that)? 😉 (And yes, a bit of mean spirited article)
16 May 2013 at 08:21 #9309@craig – Lovely link to the poster designer, comes over as a really nice guy. Wow! Talk about a dream job. AND he gets to see the episodes early. What I want to know is – did he watch all 8 episodes at once?! (Although given that he gets to see the scripts in advance, it’s a bit spoilery!)
@Shazzbot @jimthefish @timeloop The logistics of a meet-up are of army moving proportions I think, but arranging for something in a Whovian context eg at the convention sounds like a good idea, and maybe more achievable. And there’s a ready made retreat if the reality of our not-12year-old-selves not quite matching the avatars proves too much LOL!
15 May 2013 at 19:16 #9250@chickenelly – the battening down the hatches and people NOT interacting is exactly why they wouldn’t come up with the idea of faking the early release story.
Our mighty mods are on guard and people are clambering back on the sofa again, but watch you don’t stand on the fish (had to give @whohar his bath back for Saturday)
<thinks – must find teleport system to get on to the sofa – gotta be better than the ramp 🙂 >
15 May 2013 at 18:22 #9245@jimthefish – well done you btw – impressed 😉
Agree completely re the vid – could be anything – old footage spliced together, some outtakes, whatever – they know it’s now going to be highly anticipated and will hopefully go viral. They may even have been planning to release something anyway, but this gives it a platform.
I’d imagine the press dept is also frantically doing deals with/schmoozing major editorial staff and possibly websites along lines of – if you play ball and don’t publish spoilers we’ll give you extra access/vid footage/interviews/photo ops/priority for advance screenings of 50th etc etc Win-win all round 😉
15 May 2013 at 18:05 #9239I’d love to know how far in advance Tennant was booked for the 50th.

LOL – he was still denying he’d even been asked (and everything else) on Jonathon Ross in Jan(?). Actors, eh!
Interesting thought re Moff giving RTD notes for the regen episode – we know he wrote the last scene, when Matt takes over, so it’s certainly not inconceivable that he’d have more input if he’s plannning to link us all back to there.
@htpbdet Nice rundown on the regens, if just a teensy bit partial in some cases, as I’m sure you won’t mind me saying! Certainly none of them, even Hartnell, has regenerated totally voluntarily. It’s a fact of TL life, it’s not dying completely as he retains full memories of previous incarnations, but effectively it’s the death of that face, body and personality.
BTW I thought that the grandfather (RoA (please keep up!!)) sucked up the Dr’s memories but was still hungry – hence the leaf. There’s LOTS of discussion about it on the thread 🙂
<has little sniffle in corner remembering T’s last scene ;-( >
15 May 2013 at 17:38 #9227@Shazzbot – I’m sure there’re spoilers out there – depends how hard you look. You can flick your eyes away from words, but little pics can sear themselves into your brain like cybermites 🙂
I’m also confident we’ll get the video treat. It can’t be about there being NOTHING spoilery on the webs cos there’s always something! As @craig‘s article says it’s about getting the fans onside, reminding the majority that it’s much nicer to watch unspoiled.
There’s no way they would risk sending the DVDs out early in order to engage this ploy, but being faced with the reality of it, the extra footage strategy is a masterstroke. Dr Who fans are marketing gold 🙂 (Apart from anything else the timing of it distracted from the Bafta award; if you had planned this you would exploit the Baftas first, and on the back of that leak on Monday that the DVDs had gone out early. Or leak it the end of the previous week).
But there will be spoilers out there, be careful peeps! Avoid daleky sites like the Sun and DM like the plague – they have a bad habit of giving away plot points in the headlines… actually, scrub that – they just have bad habits!
Talking of the meeja – ironic that the Graun blog is still open this week, when lots of other sites have closed their comments. It closed early last week, on Tuesday if I remember right. Not looking at posts tho; and never you mind about the Sheep Shazzbot, he just likes to stir. I very much doubt he’d post actual spoilers. Others might tho, and possibly in the guise of a theory.
15 May 2013 at 12:59 #9185Damn! All I can see is 2 exploding Tardises, LOL!
Rorschach ink blots for Whovians, hehe
15 May 2013 at 10:11 #9176It’s not the Doctor who saves everyone at the end; Porridge brings in the Imperial starship and blows up the planet. Everyone’s noticed that Clara doesn’t save the Doctor – but the Doctor doesn’t save the Doctor, either. He gets saved by his mirror image; the mirror image who reluctantly accepts his responsibilities and then flies off – alone.
Oh, I like that. Nearly as much as I like the image of you as a koala (as per family guy) LMAO 🙂
*See also my post above re why the Dr zapped the cp rather than flooding it with love (But I also like the ice sliver – forgot about that. So Snow Queen meets Mary Poppins and Pinochio via Frankenstein and Dracula?)
15 May 2013 at 09:47 #9173There is definitely something going on between 10 and 11, which doesn’t happen in the portrayal of the others. There’s no reason why they should run it that way unless there’s something going on there. Which takes me back to that extremely violent regeneration. Or maybe (as Thommck suggested) the gap is to do with 10.2
My reasoning is slightly influenced by knowing that Tennant is back for the 50th, and is possibly the only previous Dr to be brought back. Also by @jimthefish saying that they only completed filming on the last bit of the finale a few weeks ago. That means that Tennant would have been available for sneaky filming as he was being much touted for 50th at that point, with on-set photos released to prove it. So his incarnation could be more central to the resolution than we think. <be still my beating fangirl heart!!>
15 May 2013 at 09:29 #9172Yikes! Apologies – long post again (I blame @htpbdet and @jimthefish for setting me off!!)
15 May 2013 at 09:28 #9171Interesting thoughts about this episode; and thanks @htpbdet for the great blog post.
I actually thought at 1 point that emotions were going to do it again – when the cyberplanner remarks on the amount of emotion the Dr is feeling for 2 earth kids he hardly knows, I thought “aha! he’s going to flood his brain with emotions, think about the Time War, about companions lost etc etc”
Why not? The cyberplanner is obviously affected by the little rush of emotion for the kids. It occured to me that the Dr knows at that point that he can win. But he chooses not to give too much of himself away/distract the cp with just enough emotions till he can zap it (an excuse for a physical manifestation of the Dr defeating it rather than the invisible “in your head” scenario?) Or he wants to keep the cp in his mind for a little longer so he can study it.
The reason for the chess game, and the “sacrifice your queen” scenario is because the Dr knows that the cp will renege on his promises. BUT, if the Dr sets up a bargain part way through – my queen for the kids – he has the best chance of getting the kids uncyberised. If he just ejects the cp with aforementioned emotional flood, he still has the problem of freeing the kids. His best chance of releasing them is by engaging with the cp in his head.
The cyberplanner is different from the rest – it seems to have a sense of self, and as people have remarked, it does seem to experience some emotions – which are not communicated to rest of the cybermen – excitement at finding itself in the giant supermall of the Dr’s brain. This is similar to the cybercontrollers of the past – the nerve centre, or hub – and they’ve always tended towards a bit of megalomania. I really really liked Matt’s playing of it (and am happy to sacrifice a little bit of unemotion in the cp for that!); I thought he did the creepy, sleazy, dark thing really well, beautifully lit too. However, I also wondered if the emotion in the cp could be down to the fact that he/it was in the Dr’s brain… the influence can go both ways? Being in the Dr’s brain is what unstabilises the cp. The cp says it is in control of 49.881% of the Dr’s brain – that’s a lot of brain still under Dr’s control, possibly the most specific time-lord bits.
We are definitely supposed to be confused occasionally as to which is which (Dr/cp) – the cp IMITATES being the Dr to Clara – that doesn’t mean he/it feels these emotions.
Having said all that, I agree with @jimthefish and others – cybermen’s origins lie in that 60s fear/hope of what science can/should do. Interesting, that while the original cybermen could only convert humans, these have now become scavengers. They may regret that. While I loved the instant upgrading – the writers will need to watch that in the future, or it will become annoying; maybe some things can’t be adapted to. And yes, genuinely non-emotional is VERY hard for a human being to write. Or maybe cybermen haven’t actually had emotions removed – only very deeply suppressed, which is why they react so badly when they are forced to confront them. I seem to remember Tennant suggested that if the converted ever realised where and what they were (ie self awareness) they would go mad.
15 May 2013 at 00:44 #9155It’s a hive mind in here. Every now and again a theory pops op out of all the little observatons that totally nails the upcoming episode/long arc
Yeah, right!
I think we have a track record only slightly better than an infinite no of monkeys…! But there’s time yet 🙂
I confidently predict the last 5 mins on Sat will be – Clara reveal, leading to gamechanger which results in massive cliffhanger to keep us all talking till the 50th… so you can rule those out for a start!
15 May 2013 at 00:38 #9153Just think: In 1979 Dr Who Magazine was 12p. Today it’s £4.75
So you’d still get 25p back from your £5 postal order (which would cover the cost of the stamp and the postcard)
15 May 2013 at 00:14 #9150@wolfweed Haha – don’t know what made me laugh more – the pic or the instructions. Ah – the good old days – when the possibility of a £5 postal order seemed worth the effort of thinking of a caption, finding a postcard, writing it down, adding all the other stuff, including your fav articles that week, finding a stamp, taking it to the letter box… Agh! it’d be next month by the time I got all that sorted out, LOL.
14 May 2013 at 23:13 #913414 May 2013 at 23:11 #9133@wolfweed – that’d be a great one to start with if you could be a*sed (replace * with appropriate letter according to country of origin 😉 )
14 May 2013 at 23:06 #912914 May 2013 at 22:44 #9121@craig, @phaseshift @jimthefish
@wolfweed needs a blog or a thread for his crazy captions, some great pics but they’ll get lost on the threads
Pretty please?
<assuming you have time and the crazy hordes of mad trolls haven’t found our watery portal yet
>14 May 2013 at 22:34 #9116@chickenelly re the list into coherent theory – ah, me neither, but thought it might help to put my bits in with yours (hope that was OK). And for heavens sake woman, did your old Scottish granny never tell you – Seek and ye shall find… spoilers, even if you’re not looking for them sweetie! Lay off the googling, esp Dr who series 7, for the next 4 days.
@wolfweed– brilliant pics as usual (LOL – Baker looks like he’s got no neck, and Gaiman like his is giraffe length (but very sweet), hehe)
@dr-clara – that scene was vaguely nagging at me as being familiar – great spot on Poppins. So what’s it mean? Clara’s the Dr’s nanny? His real name’s Mary? Or Bert…?
14 May 2013 at 22:24 #9113@whohar – tipped the fishes back on to the floor (with enough water of course!), sorted the ramp (over the water) to the sofa, and your bath is en route back to you, via trans-mat. should be plenty of time, but it did take 4 days to fill up here. Just keep an eye out for any of @juniperfish‘s fishy-nanobots in case there’s a couple still lurking about

<tries hard to blot out too-vivid image of WhoHar in the bath!!!>
14 May 2013 at 13:48 #9050@bluesqueakpip re blog – you should. And agree re infinite Claras – she also has to be the means by which he regains his memories – the repository in some way.
14 May 2013 at 12:13 #9033@blemkinsopthebrave
The cricket theory was..a joke. Sorry. Colonial humour.
Ha! We don’t do cricket but we do do humour 🙂
(Cricket theory probably not quite bonkers enough… only gets to extreme-bobbins level, I think)
14 May 2013 at 12:01 #9030@bluesqueakpipshe’s Doctor Who – the programme
I quite like that one! Dying from a fall in ratings and people thinking they were better than it? Present still running, being clever, staving off the GI/Mr Clever masses. Future? Who knows.
That’s just the tip of the iceberg re that theory. BSP’s got massive list of coincidental dates, parallels etc from every episode in series 7.2 – I’m completely convinced about this on a meta level at the very least.
14 May 2013 at 11:26 #9025@bluesqueakpip LOL @Mr Men ref. I’m definitely not Mrs Clever this morning 🙂
PS am over my prequel fears; the mass ending-spoilers posted by you and others cured my paranoia 😉 (Ruined my future reading of classics such as the bible and Romeo and Juliet, but I can live with that)
14 May 2013 at 11:20 #9024@ardaraith You did indeed, and many thanks for it, I’d missed it.
While I’d agree that key plot points unlikely to be hidden in a prequel, rather than main show, it underlines a lot of the main things we’ve been discussing and which do occur in the main show – Dr not in control, multiple realities, a Big Bad who’s in control of the Dr’s mind.
There was also a minisode many months, possibly years(!) ago (but still Smith), possibly around Silence* time, where there was a simulated broadcast of the Dr lost somewhere he didn’t recognise and appealing for help. I don’t remember that fitting in with anything we’ve seen since, until now.
*I don’t see Moff not bringing back the Silence, either in finale (tho might be a bit crowded. Except… if River’s coming back, who’s had experience of them…) or the 50th
14 May 2013 at 10:19 #9020@bluesqueakpip Or the bloody 7 month gap coming up represents the missing years (doesn’t quite fit with 1996-2005, unless RTD started serious discussions in 2003…)
14 May 2013 at 10:12 #9018Thought this was worth spotlighting again – there’s an interesting little gap between the image of 10 and image of 11 shown to the cyber-planner in the Dr’s head. There are no gaps, interesting or otherwise, between any of the other incarnations. In the gap there is something that could be an exploding Tardis; at the very least it looks like a lot of regeneration energy.
14 May 2013 at 10:01 #9017Thought Mr Clever was a bit of a naff name – no imagination these cyber-despots. Unless it links to “Clever boy”
<new unthought-through theory jumps up and down>
Re @jimthefish‘s dark doctor –
What if Run You Clever Boy… is computer instruction/programme which reactivates the (possibly slightly Doctorised) cyber-planner remains in the lone cybermite we say at the end of NiS…?
<dalekised doctor theory reduced in probability since near-cyberisation; too similar?>
Apologies to @ardaraith (not sure for which bit though!!) All theories on here are a bit hive mind produced anyway
14 May 2013 at 09:56 #9015<comes back out of Dungeon of Despair (aka the kitchen), with big fresh pot of strong black coffee>
@bluesqueakpip But he doesn’t have to die, does he? Because the show didn’t, it was technically “on ice” awaiting revival. (So long as just 1 person/fan still believed he/it could be brought back). He could be in a death-like state, eg a coma, a dream-state – eg like my GI generates multiple realities theory <not letting this one go!> There are infinite possibilities, most resulting in death, but 1 (meeting RTD!) results in reawakening and rejuvenation. (multiple realities as you suggest mirroring the effect of the time war).
Thinking also about the prequel to Asylum which someone linked to on these boards recently.
14 May 2013 at 09:33 #9009hehe – I knew someone would bite on the Scottish no-cricket ref. (Just my own little prejudices 😀 )
14 May 2013 at 09:32 #9008<prostrates her unworthy and unobservant self in front of the mighty genius (and angel spotter) @pedant (aka IAmNotAFishIAmAFreeMan) then crawls off into the Dungeon of Despair for more caffeine to sort head out 🙂 >
14 May 2013 at 09:09 #9005@chickenelly – glad to see the thinking pipe is puffing well this morning and the caffeine is obviously kicking in, LOL
14 May 2013 at 08:57 #9004Just to build on your theory – been playing with this too, but not getting to a final definite conclusion (too many thoughts – it’s not cricket!). Anyway, I would add to your articial beings, monsters who turn out not to be monsters and vice versa ie hidden monsters
1) Asylum of the Daleks – stalk eyed lady; the dancing Daleks; Clara in her own world inside a Dalek
You could argue that Clara in reality is a monster ie a dalek
Dinosaurs – Solomon appears top be normal human (in the most general sense of that) but is actually a monster because of his deeds (genocide etc)
Gunslinger – the professor(?) turns out to be the monster (because of what he chose to do – although he pleads mitigation of it being to prevent a greater evil f the neverending war); the gunslinger, who despite being cyborged becomes the defender of the people
Power of 3 – The real enemy (maybe not so monstrous) is hidden (the Shakri); (margin note – the cubes are observed and soniced and appear normal till it’s time for them to be activated (ie scanners can be fooled)
Angels – Not sure about this one – is there a hidden enemy? The guy locking up the Angel maybe, but not really monstrous. (margin note – River’s remark that the both she and the Dr are psychopaths (or maybe she meant the Tardis, LOL))
2) Snowmen – well the snowmen. Also hidden monster (Simeon, the GI)
3) Bells of St John – spoonheads; GI taking over people who work in the Shard (GI hidden even from the Dr); Ms K turns out not to be so monstous when the GI leaves her
Rings – The biggest monster isn’t the mummy, it’s the big planet (which as someone pointed out was beyond hidden in plain sight – it dominated the screen at times!) (margin note – “infinite potential” in the leaf, stronger than memories)
4) Coldwar – Icewarrior suit being mistaken for real thing; It’s also arguably not as monstrous as the nuclear sub (and definitely not as bad as the officer who wanted to go and nuke everyone, to hell with agreements)
5) Hide – pocket universe (Hidden monster – the timetraveller turns out not to be a threat, ditto the Romeo/Juliet monsters); The prof thinks he’s a monster, but he doesn’t appear like that to us. War made him make the choices he had to make
6) Centre of the Tardis – different realities; confusing maze (Monsters – the fried people, who turn out to be themselves – we don’t know why they were chasing – maybe they have no choice but to reunite with their other selves to prevent a paradox, or are trying to warn)
7) Crimson Horror – waxy people in bell jars; (Hidden monsters – Mr Sweet, who isn’t that monstrous and Mrs G who is, but appears human)
8) Nightmare in Silver – the Cybermen; they’re in hiding when we arrive and also hide in the Doctor (margin note – “infinite potential” in a child’s brain); the emperor – been hiding from his people/responsibilities for too long – realises he has to come back
But as I say it may just be an underlying theme of monsters not necessarily being what we think they are (ie the Dr isn’t as monstrous as he thinks he is). Split, or different, realities?
Love the Clara/Clarence (angel) @osakahatter mentioned upstream (Sent by the Tardis? River? Both?)
14 May 2013 at 08:23 #9003@whohar @blenkinsopthebrave @janetteb
Well I see the nightshift’s been very busy, and good to see you’re not stumped for ideas! However there’s no way that will happen – the Moff’s Scottish and we don’t do cricket!!
13 May 2013 at 23:51 #8976@timeloop No, most of us are on or behind the (as big as it needs to be) sofa. The fishes are confined to @whohar‘s (megasized, luxury) bath since @juniperfish sneaked some fish-isng nanobots into the water round the sofa. Was getting a bit damp anyway. We may have to move them for the finale though if @phaseshift goes for his usual “bathe in the blood of the innocents” finale watching ritual.
And our mighty mods @craig, @phaseshift, @jimthefish are on guard at the watery portal
