Many thanks – have marked them both as spammers. It does seem to be the case that, because there is “Doctor” in the site name they think we might be interested in their dodgy medication. They take the time to sign up, and add a profile pic. But they don’t take the time to work out what the site is about!

Wow! I chose a crazy time to join the forum, then!

I must confess I originally signed up for Gallifrey Base (having read a lot of Gallifrey one years ago – those reviews were brilliant as I was rediscovering the show). I’ve been in the moderation queue for a month, though. I think I can understand why, now! Terrible time to join, really… but I’d like to talk a bit of Doctor Who and the ‘outside world’ has gone completely mad.

I should point out that I’m definitely not a troll or a bot or anything. No, really. Honest. I’m very nice. 🙂

Hi, I just wanted to know everyones opinion, I am 19, and every since I was a very young girl, I have been obsessed with the doctor, never missed an episode, then season 6, episode 7 arrived, ‘a good man goes to war’. The episode where Riversong was born, but what shocked me the most was, her birth name was Melody, my name, you can imagine 11  year old me was speechless, Melody isn’t a common name at all, clearly this is just a coincidence, or is it???

I’ve had several emails from  a number of sweet young ladies with many important and urgent things to discuss.

As well as items for removal -should I wish it. Frankly, I’d be thrilled down to my bootstraps if they would remove  carpet from d’house and take it to waste disposal. Heck, they can have the old wet mattresses from d’Christensan flood which happens nearly every 4 years (that would be a quadrennial?)  🙂 @miapatrick: you’ve had unsolicited pix of genitalia? I’m in awe!

Greetings from our Brisbane winter -alright, it’s spring, but just & yesterday was 31 & today 34! Madness.

Yet the non-experts ignore the discussion about “what are we going to do about….global warming?” [singing this to Sound of Music’s “what are we ….about Maria?”]

I wrote that all-a-muck 😉  I was thinking that toinfinityandbepond  and devilishrobby might not know me as the Puro, of old, what with Thane’s suggestion of “syzygy” which is a concept he takes great delight in. But yes, other than a few kilograms and pounds here and there, we’re still recognised -which is what matters, as you say.

And here, we mostly tend to speaking up -or standing up ‘in front’ of our computer rather than hiding behind it?

I get the impression people are relatively honest (Ahem), even those who want to move my furniture (one of the spammers), or date me/us. I somehow think the lady who had several million dollars to share, might have been telling a little fib. 😉
