Of course… It makes so much more sense now π
24 December 2013 at 12:30 #23324I have no idea what that is :/
24 December 2013 at 10:27 #23319I don’t know if anyone has mentioned it already, I have been away from the internet for too long now and I just don’t have time on Christmas evening to read everything π Anyways, after I rewatched Smith and Jones, where the Doctor got a “brand new sonic screwdriver” or something like that, how does that work with the “same screwdriver, different shell” thing?
Sorry if I’m a bit slow π
24 December 2013 at 10:20 #23318I would say that he looked even more like Matt, but with a bit longer hair andΒ a bit skinnier π
21 December 2013 at 12:00 #23196Hey there π
Just wanted to share a really interesting experience from yesterday night, where I attended a party. What I saw was a room filled with young men wearing bowties. (Most of them just clip-on’s; shame on them…) One of them, however , looked like the lost twin brother of Matt Smith as he looked when he first appeared in the 11th Hour. It was really hard not to stare at him, especially when he danced right next to me! So many flashbacks π I don’t think I have seen any two persons as similar as those two, except maybe for identical twins. I don’t have any idea who he is though…
And by the way, I hadn’t been drinking, so were he a hallucination it must have been something more severe π

10 December 2013 at 09:09 #22528I’ll have to check that out as soon as possible π Probably won’t be that great without sound π
9 December 2013 at 18:14 #22497Thanks for sharing! π It’s been far too long since the last episode… π
9 December 2013 at 10:51 #22488I had never even heard of Grace Jones before this, I personally prefer rock π Of course, it’s good to broaden one’s horizon! That cover of La Vie en Rose is actually quite good, though I still prefer Γdith Piaf’s original π
It’s good if you like it, however, I get entirely confused when listening to either Bells 2 or that Bane thing :/
I don’t like being confused…
8 December 2013 at 22:56 #22469@timeloop Do it!
And that unofficial theme song really does fit, quite amazing π
… I’m at a loss of words, when I got up this morning I had no knowledge of the song Warm Leatherette, much less that there was something called leatherette (look how clever I’m becoming! ) and now I know 2 versions, I’m amazed!
What will be next? π
8 December 2013 at 20:51 #22456I don’t know why, but I am of the opinion that he should definitely get an elephant.Β And bring it on the Tardis. He should have an elephant stable!
According to this site it was 35! But what are the odds that he would bring 35 elephants into his Tardis?
8 December 2013 at 19:34 #22442Oh @whisht had it only been that… π
Maybe it did have something to do with it though, maybe I have finally gone mad!
I mean, how awesome would it be with an elephant in the Tardis, or a giraffe…
8 December 2013 at 19:31 #22441Bells 2 is horrible…
And about me being a rare thing, trust me, I’ve heard it before, mixed with crazy, mad and evil π
8 December 2013 at 19:03 #22436I have no idea where this comes from, but I’ve been wondering the whole day, does anyone know whether the Doctor has ever transported an elephant or similar in the Tardis?
8 December 2013 at 19:01 #22435@whisht I actually listened through the whole thing, in the frail belief that something else would happen…Never have I been so wrong…
Still, I like the Warm Leatherette more than the thing with the bells, if I used the one with the bells as ringtone I would probably walk around all day hoping that no one would call me π
For a ringtone I use the default one, it’s okay I guess π
7 December 2013 at 15:18 #22357I am currently upstairs, in the other end of the house from the loudspeakers, yet my brother turns up the volume so much that I can hear everything perfectly, to my dismay, not even @timeloop could sleep through that π
6 December 2013 at 20:15 #22317I don’t get how you can do that, have a nice alarm tone, I would NEVER get out of bed if that was me.
Personally, I go through the alarm tones on the phone when I get a new one, and pick the loudest, most annoying one π
6 December 2013 at 13:28 #22300@historygeek5 Hi!
4 December 2013 at 09:06 #22232I’m enjoying it very much, of course π
And that’s easy, I was always scared of Santa when I was little, so it’s not very appealing! I’ve only been watching it for around a year, so I don’t have any childhood memories of the Doctor, it does, as you mentioned, mean that I get to watch everything for the first time π
3 December 2013 at 20:54 #22215If you need cheering up, you could also listen to what is probably my favorite song, Don’t Give Up by Peter Gabriel ft. Kate Bush
I don’t know how anyone could not love it π
3 December 2013 at 19:50 #22210I’ve only just reached the 4th Doctor so wouldn’t know, I’ll watch out for it though, no doubt π
I missed the show, partly because it wasn’t sent in my country and partly because I was away from everything called internet in that weekend :/ Lets hope he won’t have a goatee π
That sounds promising, for every day that passes I look more and more forwards to Christmas, might evenΒ survive the ice and snow and the storm they are promising this Friday!
3 December 2013 at 17:39 #22204How could I forget? π
It’s actually not as bad as feared! Gonna take something being used to, though, after my long tradition of hating beards of all kinds π Good that we have reached December now π
Maybe the 11th Doctor being bearded in Day of the Moon was our warning that this was to come…
2 December 2013 at 19:49 #22153I hope you are wrong, but hey, what do I know, I might get convinced π Would have a hard time expressing my change of heart about beards to everyone I’ve complained about, though…
2 December 2013 at 15:56 #22135@mikeofmcr re: 2)
I really hope you are wrong, according to me there is nothing worse than facial hair… Now I’m even more excited to find out what he looks like π
27 November 2013 at 13:57 #21770I was finally able to view the episode last night. When dodging spoilers 3 days are a very, very long time!
Though not my favorite episode, it is definitely worth watching again to find out what little details I missed the first time.
I’m so looking forward to see where it will be taken after this, there are so many interesting opportunities to explore.
I have been trying to read all of your posts, unsuccessfully I admit, but I’ll get after it and hopefully be able to do some thinking on my own once my head starts functioning normally again π
29 May 2013 at 13:18 #11317@scaryb – You know, a slight exaggeration never hurt anyone π Okay, maybe it has, but in this specific case i seriously doubt it! Still, I think it could make some great scenes π
28 May 2013 at 23:25 #11256I’m looking forward to find out π And then maybe a woman who looks like a man? I mean, I know quite a few whose gender i could not determine for quite some time π
28 May 2013 at 22:58 #11254No doubt, but it could still make some great scenes if they decided to use it so that at last everything depended on the companion because someone wouldn’t let the doctor do whatever needed to be done π
28 May 2013 at 21:23 #11249If the next doctor is a woman, there will be other problems as well, say, traveling back to a time where women didn’t have anything to say? I guess it could give some humorous and intense scenes π
26 May 2013 at 14:40 #11016I would not be surprised if he did, but i surely hope that he did not work with the cybermen, they are disgusting! Daleks are a good shot though…
26 May 2013 at 14:24 #11012Or possibly killed his children, what the Hurt doctor did, he did in the name of “peace and sanity”, Maybe they were just driving him insane? π
