the whole regeneration limit being quashed doesn’t come as a surprise to me if I’m honest however… I don’t class meta crisis doctor as a seperate regen just an

Anyway I kind of agree on a theory that my brother said last night and that is where the 11th doctor meets the curator (future incarnation who looks like 4th doctor) I don’t think they were in the gallery I think they were in the future incarnations Tardis. the reason? The circles on the wall. I know it probably wasn’t because four Tardis’ in one would be a huge paradox but then again anything is possible when the doctor is involved

i love your theory of Clara being the daughter of river and the doctor and it would be plausable.

 

however there is one thing I am

absolutely certain on after having rewatched the name of the doctor so many times I’m convinced Clara’s mystery is still unsolved. She isnt finiajed baking yet (kind of like buffy in season 7 with the cookie dough analogy)

 

aomething that nacksy bonkers theory up is the doctor calls her the impossible girl and says to jack your an impossible thing. Might be no connection but then again there could be.

 

witg the 50tj on tonight I’m starting to thinat the name of the doctor and day of the doctor only share the connection of john hurt appearing I could be wrong though…

In an answer to your last question @htpbdet I don’t believe the block was about hurt it was definately about Clara. The reason? The doctor hadn’t at this point got all e information on Clara or worked out who she is and what she was meant to do. For some reason he didn’t want the cyberplanner to have access because he might of been able to figure her out or use her against him

I am also with you on the fact that Clara’s full story hasn’t been exposed yet. There could be any number of reasons for this and I think the main one is the possibility that she is 12 however far fetched at sounds but I don’t know lol

What your saying makes a whole load of sense. That doctor was locked away in the time war so Clara wouldn’t of seen him.

And John being the time war doctor is probably going to be the case but he could also be the valeyard could he not?

John hurt as a creation someone made out of the holes he left by being deleted? As appealing as it sounds and it would be an amazing story but how did he get into the doctors time stream and how did 11 recognise him??

Although reading your 2nd theory makes even more sense and totally what Moffat would do. The doctor is the silence and the founder of that and it would be John hurt doctor who created the silence.

I am still convinced that the 50th is about e time war and John hurt ended said time war.

Oh god I hope it’s not meta-crisis doctor!! If anything I want the actual tenth doctor. And your right @shazzbot rose has had two heartbreaking goodbyes and really don’t get why she is in the 50th unless it has something to do with badwolf of course.

If she gets a third goodbye then why can’t we have Donna or Martha? Much prefer them to rose personally.

Jack was such an important character I think they should do a little part about him.

I haven’t had the chance to nip out and buy the DVDs but I watched it on YouTube.

I’m a after gap watcher and I found the talons of weng chiang very entertaining and Tom baker is amazing as the doctor!

I didn’t get the chance to watch it all because youtube was playing up so I didn’t get the end.

I love leela and this episode has made me want to look into her history a bit more. It was also good to see a companion who is feisty and fights back.

This episode reminded me about how bad the effects were back in those days. I know probably good for the times but still.

I can’t wait to watch next week’s episode

Can I interject on this? I am still firmly on the Clara bandwagon as I have explained in other posts I just really think Moffat is keeping it a secret because he wants it to be a genuine surprise. Moffat does remind me of the great and infamous Mr Whedon their writing styles are similar and I’d love for them to collaborate at some point. And as you may have guessed by my username @bluesqueakpip I am a fan of Buffy 😀

@bluesqueakpip I don’t think I’ve seen anything on Rory kinnear’s acting so I can’t comment on if for me he would be suitable for the role. Just tennant and smith have big hair and smiths is bigger than tennants maybe the next doctor will have even more. Who knows but Rory has little hair.

I do agree on the fact that I think Moffat and the NBC know who the next doctor is and they are just playing games with us and it’s understandable. They would I’m guessing want to keep it under wraps until the 50th is out of the way and tht is the right way to go in my eyes.

Plus gives us more time to speculate and come up with far far away never going to happen guesses XD
